- A woman caused quite a scene on board a flight because of a crying baby, but the tables have turned. Susan Peirez was placed on leave during an investigation. “I work for the governor," she claimed as she was caught on video yelling at a crew member aboard the Delta flight. It turns out the woman who got all sorts of attention for her obnoxious behavior works for the New York State Council on the Arts. Peirez's name and image have been removed from the council's official website. #InsideEdition

For the passenger making the threats, she likely believes her words carry weight, that the attendant probably has never had anyone claim authority, pulling the "I am more important than you." card. "I work for the governor" - Ummm.....only in the most indirect way. State Council for the Arts is not quite the same as what most people think as "working for the governor". She made it sound like she was the governor's chief of staff or something (not that it would matter). Also, threatening to have the airline employee fired via use of her power as supposedly being tight with the governor (who probably doesn't even remember who she is) is way out of bounds. Also cussing in front of ANYONE in public, not just a toddler, should be frowned upon. I'm a grown man and I don't want to hear people's potty mouths. There's a certain decorum to be followed when you're in public, especially when you have a captive audience, like on a plane.
