  • We've all been in the situation of flying with a fussy child or sitting next to one on a plane. Just last week this mom got national attention when she was kicked off a United Airlines flight because her baby was crying. The Vancouver-bound plane carrying Canadian singer Sarah Blackwood and her son hadn't even taken off when the trouble began. Sarah admits little Sebastian was screaming loudly. #InsideEdition

Gibb3x x3 yes. I’ve travelled a lot, as my husband is an Aussie and I’m English, so every year I go to visit family from Australia to England. Babies cry, and it’s fine. This isn’t a baby. Surely the parent knew he’d be a nightmare? Some mild sedative would have settled him down for a while and given EVERYONE a break from him. He’s obviously hyperactive, ADHD, or just not disciplined. I’ve had my children fly long haul when they were young, and never would I have allowed this. It’s unfair to others.

At one point the yunger brother stopped, but the girls continued, having screamed and cried for literally 3 hours straight. The flight attendent came by more than once trying be polite, but also get the point across to stop screaming. Her father eventually took her to the bathroom, tired and exasperated, and asked her what she wanted. She screamd, "I DON'T KNOW!" The whole plane could hear her tantrum for the flight so far. You mean the family that smelled bad? They could kick them off because they weren't flying over the ocean. This flight was from Germany to Newark New Jersey. They crossed to Atlantic Ocean, you can just stop

I wasn’t there, but one time the same thing happened when we were going to Phoenix from Atlanta. The flight was delayed for 4 hours so we boarded at 11:30 PM Et. We took off at midnight, and the kid screamed for the whole 4 hour flight, and the kid was right behind me. His mom did nothing about this, one of my least favorite days ever.

2 minutes? One second of his scream got me gritting my teeth. No offense to the child since it's probably a lack of parental control that caused his screaming but I would've asked them to kicked off the flight.

No I get this. My sister has a 7 year old and 4 year old and the 4 year old can be so noisy. It's hard af being a mom. No matter what u do it's hard to make a screaming kid calm again. Sometimes you dont even know the root of the problem. Most of the time, trying to help solve the problem only makes the kid cry more. And imagine the mother. Tired of her kid, traveling, and hearing them all the time. The passengers only needed to hear 8 hours of that. I do not blame the mother.
