Same here been using it for years now.. Way better than anything else that's out there and I still wish that the Apple TV was even quicker and faster and smoother..
I think they should add a HOLD button on the remote so you don't accidentally hit the remote in it does whatever.. I do that a lot and it keeps me out to the home screen or something They need to add that it would be very helpful..
it is truly the best one. Definitely worth the extra price over other brands like Roku

Absolutely love my Apple TV and have used them for years. Would like to see them improve the FaceTime handoff which almost never works.
I have 2 appletv 4k gen 1s. Was waiting for the new model this year but I know as soon as I buy one a new one will come out. I really HDR10+ so it’s tempting

I have 4 in my home. I haven’t turned on my cable box in a few years and just use the cable company app as well as the up next for all my other channels. Absolutely love them.

The apple TV should be something that goes where a camera goes on top the TV with just the remote sensor and a camera keeping it out of sight

I have 4 in my house and love my Apple TVs. I have the original 4k model(2021 I think?) and cannot wait till this one comes out and upgrade them.

I got the first gen i didn't realize no hdr+ now i wanna upgrade, i might wait i still got dolby vision
We are long term cord cutters and use an antenna for broadcast Tv to supplement our streaming. Would love to see OTA dvr in the Apple TV similar to Tablo and TiVo. We’ve had every gen of Apple TV but that is the only upgrade that would keep me investing.
It would be nice to have a full Apple 3.1, 5.1 and/or 7.1 home theater system and one that does not require a home mortgage.

I am using the latest AppleTV and have been using AppleTV hardware for years. I find that I occasionally use the Sony A80L TV's built apps because I think it does a better job with the sound and picture adjustments. It is unclear to me if AppleTV hardware is picking up the Netflix and Prime calibration modes. Maybe a good topic for one of your videos'
2 4K first generations in my house
We have 4 Apple TV's and have finally switched over from using whole-house DVRs (which were awesome) to all streaming... via our Apple TV's. The "Up Next" feature is absolutely killer and is what makes it possible to figure out what shows/episodes you are watching, like the DVR interface on the cable box does. Apple needs to promote this Up Next feature more -- it's definitely a game changer.
The best Apple product (after iPod classic). Use it every single day and love every second of it!
If Apple can come in at under $100.00 it will be a HUGE success for sure !!!
Have always loved the Apple TV. IMO it needs to come out with A17 pro or M1, give it access to the games available on iOS/MacOS
allow infuse to make improvements in their app to include dts, truHD 7.1 and other codec sound improvement ...
Same for Plex. The hardware is there to handle it.
I use it but less now that I have a 4K TV and X1 box that facilitates access to streaming apps, some (via X1) in 4K HDR. I primarily use Apple TV when I want to askew the TV internal speakers and play through the AV receiver for best quality sound.
My AV installed tells me that Apple tv is the most popular
He is encouraging me to use CZcams TV with apple TV and to ditch cable. Does anyone have thoughts on this?
I love my Apple TV 4K. It’s at least 5 years old and still runs the latest TV OS 17.5.2! But I’m looking for a reason to upgrade and HDR10+ and a faster processor would be great!
Great video! I think more storage for games in Apple TV will be great, if that happens we no for sure the Apple TV it´s not going to be cheap.
I have the latest Apple TV and I love it better than any of the streaming boxes I’ve ever used - even better than Nvidia Shield TV. To me, one of the most awesome things for me is how I can be watching a YT video, suddenly have to leave and turn off the box … later when I can continue watching, starting up the box puts me right back where the video cut off - like it turned off and was placed in a save stated by the OS. That is great. The thing on emulation, I don’t think the newer version will need drastically more space, but Apple needs to work a way to have apps on your Apple TV access your Files app … I have an emulator on my ipad but all of my games are stored in Files. Having accessibility to Files would negate the need for large amounts of on device storage.
It would be nice to have some sort of speaker on the side of the Siri remote that would allow you to locate it if you lose it. I am not a gamer. I do watch MLB app and ESPN and it’s also good to have the DIRECTV app during severe weather season.

I've had an Apple TV since the original, 1st gen, went on sale in 2007.
I travel with this gem. Even in Hotels when I can plug it in the TV that’s is. So much nicer that TV apps

I used a friends Apple TV last week and I was sold on one after 5min of use, I have an LG C3 which is pretty new and I thought was fine but now it seems so sluggish in comparison - I'll wait for the new one given the current model is 2022
I use the Apple Tv 4k second gen 2021 model with the A12 chip. I had it replaced twice while under AppleCare. It actually cost more for the 64gb compared to the Apple Tv 4k 3rd gen 64gb. The 3rd gen has a A15 chip in it. If I buy another one I will get it unless the next gen Apple Tv comes with the A17 or M1.
We have 5 and use 2 every day and the other 3 at least twice a week. I’ll get the new one when it comes out for sure.

I’m watching this on my Apple TV 😂 I use it every day. I like the tvOS 17 upgrades and see no real need for an upgrade at this point.

What’s the best movie app subscription to buy?
We watch a lot of live TV over the air with an antenna. I wish the AppleTV had a way to either control the tv channels, or even had an option to add a tuner module of some sort. The over the air channels look so much better than Hulu Live, or CZcams TV, and I don’t want to pay for something that’s free anyway. Anyone have any thoughts of how to handle live over the air tv other than jumping out of the AppleTV and using the tvs tuner?

I have a 2022 Apple TV 4K with 128GB since it first came out. Although, since the 2022 Apple TV 4K introduces support for HDR10+, I wish Apple can put support for DTS:X on a newer 2024 Apple TV 4K for both Disney+ IMAX Enhanced content and content on the Apple TV app that doesn’t have Dolby Atmos (Jurassic Park 1-3 and Jurassic World 1 for example). What do you think, Appleinsider?
The current Apple TV 4K is absolute perfection. It's a highly polished device where so much attention to detail has gone in to. The A15 is incredibly fast. Truly love it. I have it connected to an LG C2 OLED TV and the two seem to be perfect together. HomeSharing on it is flawless as is the way that it works with AirPods Pro with no lip sync issues. Just perfect!
I suspect, for the gaming enthusiasts, the next version will have ray tracing on the chip, probably the same chip in the forthcoming iphone 16 the current chip must be coming to the end of its production run? I use mine for TV and plex, video and streaming multi-channel audio from my Server
I love the Apple TV i still have the HD version from 2015 its even running tvos 18. I just have a full HD Samsung TV so i never upgraded, now im just waiting for a new apple tv with better gaming capabilities. Even though UI and streaming running smooth, multitasking and gaming stutters ligtly on the ATV HD, including that there are some features missing like facetime, means that its time for me to upgrade.
I’ve had every version but if there isn’t a significant upgrade like support for HDR 10 or 10+ I’ll be skipping this one

All of my TV’s and monitors have Apple TV. In total, I have nine Apple TVs in my home.
I also love to use Apple TV 4K but my one is old 1st generation, and want 3rd generation but no one is trading
More than anything I want more codec support for Plex server playback. Too many weird hoops to jump through to get all the highest end video and audio codecs to stream from a NAS. The much older Nvidia Shield Pro can do more in the codec space than the newest Apple TVs. Fingers crossed!
I would love to see Apple allowing to pair more than 2 HomePod stereo speakers, it will be a game changer if we can turn it it a 5.1 or 7.1 sound system
I want to see real app control. Maybe a mirror of the Apple TV screen or something similar that allows you to scroll and pick what you want to watch on your phone or tablet.
I have two 4K Apple TVs, and my main complaint is the Siri button on the side of the remote. 9 times out of 10 when I pick up the remote I activate Siri by accident. 😑
We use the Apple TV 4K for all our streaming. We love it!
I still have the Apple TV HD and we use it for streaming TV shows and movies plus play games on it. We are waiting to see what Apple releases this year before buying a 2022 4K.

I don't use it with CZcams since it doesn't deal with the transitions well at all. The Firestick is seamless when watching CZcams.
I have 5 of them.
I have 3 ATV's with one in the living room attached to an Anthem MRX 1140 receiver and the ATV in the master bedroom using 2 OG HomePods as speakers, I would like to see Apple make two changes to the audio subsystem. 1) support higher than 48Khz sampling to allow Lossless Music on Apple Music to be played. Also support Dolby TrueHD Lossless Atoms vs the compressed stream we suffer with now. 2) support the HomePod mini as rear speakers to complement the HomePod as front Left and Right and virtual center speaker.
I use Apple TV on all of my televisions in my home. I can’t imagine using anything else. I would love to see better integration with services providers like DIRECTV so we could use the native Apple TV quality verses the DIRECTV app, if that could happen.

I have it but sadly swapped to a fire stick, apple is missing pass through audio for the Apple TV, especially when pairing this with a surround sound and lg c1 tv
What do you mean passthrough audio?
@@AppleInsider when using 3rd party apps like kodi, there is an issue with the audio source, even when trying to use 7.1 as an audio setting it’s only displayed as 2.0, I looked though the forms and everyone is having the same issue with Apple TV
@@Alessandro20090313I solved this by connecting ting my Apple TV directly to my Dolby atoms soundbar and pass through works perfectly.
0:53 I can’t get over how off-center the soundbar is under the TV.
I have 1 for the front room and 1 for the bedroom. Use every day. The one thing I've been hoping for for years is porting Safari over to it.
The A15 is overkill from a tv box standpoint but man...People need to try one to see how good they are. Apple Music alone how it interfaces with it is stellar!!!
