In Girl & Robot, an impatient girl takes on the task of building a robot. Can she complete it without destroying her own creation?

These characters are just too awesome. This would make a great full length film, just a girl and her robot going on all sorts of adventures.
I just loved how she grabbed his face at the end, so beautiful and sad. I adore this short animation :)
The problem with perfection is, when we try too hard to find it or improve upon it, we often lose the closest thing to it in the process.

@@holoyt1372 How was he MADE then? Pretty sure that whatever technology comes after - it would be pretty easy to fix your own things. You know how it works inside and out. You'd be able to fix him real quick.

This was a great short.
I think it would have made a great back-story for the mechromancer from borderlands 2.
The girl even looks a little similar, if you take the fact of the robotic limbs and such being added later because of injuries during the accident (or a later accident trying to recreate the robot).
That's.. EXACTLY how I felt today. LOL!

the robot did more good things in its twenty seconds of life than many people do in 50 to 100 years.

Fascinating. That thing did not do what it was supposed to 99,9% of the time, made her almost go nuts, probably ate a whole lot of materials and much time to work on for just a few seconds of intended behavior. Still it probably was the most useful thing she ever built.
