- Lake Cumberland, located in Southeastern Kentucky, is an adventurer’s dream, with over 1,200 miles of shoreline there is quite a bit to explore, One spot that is both famous and well-loved is hidden in a cove, join us as we paddle a small potion of that shoreline in hunt of an epic waterfall.

The stunning waterfall was so worth the journey. I loved all the lush green trees by the lake and the exposed root system was so interesting!
"Dia dhuit" I am glad you enjoyed it. I wish you would have felt some water splash while I struggled to film and paddle simultaneously behind the waterfall. I am glad I wasn't swallowed by the waterfall but shared the beauty of waterfall inside and out. I am certain I didn't see any roots exposed nor rock formation in Dublin. You inspired me to walk/hike, so I did over the weekend. OMG, what did I get myself into??? I climbed at an elevation of 2,280 feet above sea level. I should have cheated using an elevator...I may suffer leg cramps....ouch...Peter, apologies...I will catch up on vids I missed over the weekend.

The name of the falls is quite interesting. What a great day outdoors! The blue skies and the waters are just awesome. I wouldn't mind spending long hours in this place. ❤
It was a great day
As a native of Lake Cumberland I’ve been at 76 falls many many times!! A few years ago as the wolf Creek Dam was going a major renovation the army corps of engineers lowered the lake level to historic levels… at that time you couldn’t get to the falls by boat … it really was a sight! The falls were falling for over 80’!!!! If you want another great kayak adventure then put in below the dam then paddle down the river to the historic natural arch called Rockhouse Bottom.. you won’t be disappointed…

The water is so clear and wonderful nature. The waterfall is so beautiful. Amazing to kayak behind the waterfall. I went to Mammoth Cave Kentucky many years ago. Thanks for wonderful adventure, my friend !
Mammoth Cave is a place we also want to visit, but right now you have to get a permit to film it for youtube

What a great Kayaking experience. It is certainly a beautiful area. The small waterfalls are pretty. 6:42 Very impressive Falls. Love that you could paddle beneath the falls, which gives you a good idea of how big these falls are. Definitely the best view was by the water. Thank for taking us on your adventure. 👍🏼🙏🏼🤠

The big falls sure is impressive! We’ve kayaked a few times, but never to a waterfall!
