- Lake Cumberland is a massive body of water that is well-known for boating, fishing, and other activities, but this lake is also filled with countless hidden spots that are downright beautiful. Located near Monticello, Kentucky there is an area of the lake called Twyford Point. In this section you'll find a boat ramp where you can put in your kayak, take off on an adventure and within a short paddle come across a very nice waterfall which is only accessible by boat.

This is one state I have not been to. I should go. My family help pioneer the state back in the late 1700's. Such beautiful country.

We saw on guy with a drone case and he was very upset he couldn't fly his. Beautiful place. Good thing you remember about your key. We have done this so many times. It makes for a great workout, for sure. 😆 I love how the waterfall is only accessible by boat, and you need to hike a short distance to get to it. ❤
