Hi. I got a bmw e39 520 that suddenly won’t start. Mech made me replace engine, and control module dme. Still won’t start. Now he’s asked to have ews replaced.I already spent a lot on that car. Cld the ews spell trouble pls. Or cld it be the key is damaged. Car drove fine until parked and refused to start again ever

Will this scanner program Acura/Honda Keys with the “V” on the key with out that module?

it dont have the option to choose what chip you have? im talking about ak90

For ews 3 / 318i 1999 / 2D47J it is not on the list of chip on autel there is D046J but I didn’t find the 2D47J

Thanks for this! Have you ever connected an ews and found that it has no data? Recently lost my key and in trying to create a new one the locksmith said my ews connected fine but had no data and so there’s no way to write a new key. I ordered a key straight from bmw already programmed based on vin to see if that would work but no luck. Any ideas??

Nah you don't have to replace the fluid you will be fine you can just replace the filter .
