Great info. Is this setup able to pull off ews VIN change. Say i bought a set of dme and ews off another car and wanted to match the VIN. Its easy to change vin on the DME but on the ews i haven't seen any ingo on this. Kindly if you can a video on this would be great

Yep but do you disconnect vehicle battery before removing EWS unit...?
You can but I never have and never caused any issues

No
Don’t you need to write it back to the ews?
No just did a few and 0 issues car started right up.

When I scan my EWS it wont read on the scanner the guy said it's dead what should I do
Take it to the dealership
