I was bitten 19 times on my arm when cutting firewood for an overnight campfire with vegan outdoorsman.

Wood camping is a great way to spend some time outdoors and in nature, BUT as you see within my youtube video small things can become a big problem fast.

What was it thst bit ya Dan..ants midges flies...I'm.hypoallergetic....bloody green fly could bite me n it'll.look.like a wasp....my midge horse fly bites look like bullet holes....so I know your pain mate
The BITES can be treated with ANTHISAN cream, an ANTI HISTAMINE CREAM which reduces the SORE itch and the SWOLLEN (from SWELLING) areas, you can also take Anti histamine tablets, ALLERGY tablets like LORATIDINE, cheap from Home Bargains or Poundland, which also help with HAY FEVER to hit the bite from external /outside and internal/ inside. They work well. People with O type blood often have it worst from insect bites, some people swear by chewing Parsley. Hope this helps, and apologies for correcting your spelling, i recall you said you had some problems with words, and my intention is only to help. Stay safe, take care, happy trails.
Those bites look nasty Dan. I hope your using some antihistamine cream on them. If your not aware of it Avon skin so soft spray on oil is fantastic at keeping insects away from you. It even works on the midges in Scotland which are well known for biting even with other repellents on you. Hope it gets well soon.

Im so glad you do realistic reviews. I just watched some guy in the peak district, - the tent he was reviewing was a one man job; £650 !!!. In fairness it was a nice tent, - but £650 !; Fuxache !. Where do people get the money to blow £650 on a one man tent ?. He even had a fillet steak & asparagus for his supper. Buy some Smidge. It protects against ticks, mosquitoes and all biting insects. It lasts for 12 hours, is waterproof, doesn't contain DEET and is safe for the face provided you put it on your hands and then the face, it mustn't get into the eyes, nose or mouth. But it is utterly fantastic to stop biting insects.

I've always liked woodland camping it all started with Ray Mears on wild tracks.
A good mix of camping spots is good Dan so you dont get bored of the same place, Its nice finding new areas to pitch up too.

I work as a groundsman for a big house and garden . I've had similar bites when clearing up old dead leaves . My advice to you is to pack some cheap antihistamines in you r kit and some itch relief spray . Always useful and also some insect repellent. Really enjoyed the video as always . Take care

Yes Dan vets do cost an arm & a leg ! My cat got a cancerous growth that got removed from her ear & it cost me £980 !! That was 5 years ago , I'm happy to say she is still with us so it was money well spent 😊 A

Hi, English woodman. Woodland camping is what I like the most. Also that's the name of your channel, English woodsman. Nothing wrong with variety hills and other places . I do think sometimes you have to go back to your roots and where you come from and what you do and know the best. I am not saying, your other videos are not good. When things come from the heart they are the best videos that shine through the most like this one.
