Solo winter hot tent camping in heavy snowfall .

- It's the first significant snow storm of the season and i naturally feel the urge to get out with a hot tent and stove . I go and leave my Jeep at my friends cabin and walk about 1 km in the beautiful pine forest surrounding it to find a nice camping spot , after pitching the tent i collect wood then retreat inside the tent to dry ,eat and drink coffee . I then go to bed early after an active day in the wood .

Ta tente a l'air parfaite: bonnes dimensions, trou pour la cheminée, et une porte à large ouverture, ce qui est plutôt rare. Chanceux!
J'adore cette tente ( en fait j'aime toute les tentes qui on un certain bon sens .. :) ) Naturehike a frapper dans le mille avec cella la. Un modèle 4 place s'en vient il semblerais .... merci de visionner et commenter !
I think hot tent camping has to be the best way to camp. I can't wait to get out there.

Hello again from northern Alberta. It’s good to see we have a lot in common. I to use a battery operated chainsaw. Use a cheap child’s toboggan to haul the wood. We have the same tent,but different stoves. Good to see someone that knows how to use an axe instead of beating on their knife to get their wood. Good to also see that you don’t need to use all this dehydration stuff,but can cook a real meal. Nice to chat with you,and thanks.you are now on my subscriber page. Take care,and thanks
Thanks , appreciate your comments , i have to confess i baton my knife occasionnally ,usually to get smaller pieces ... And the food , well ,is anything tasting better than a good meal made in the woods with basic gear and ingredient ?

thanks! i really love the tent and had a think about how to fix that stove jack...perhaps slip a silicone stove jack over it sliding it down onto the jack area at least to block off the hole ? the ones the bell tent manufacturers sell with their tent and perhaps a groundsheet for the floor to keep it dry instead of the soaked ground. awesome vlog friend.
Thanks for the comment ,i will possibly glue a Pomoly stovejack ( one with a flap ) over the original one . For ground sheet i use Yoga mats when i tow my pulk ,a bit bulky ,but nice firm floor with some insulation.

Faut être patient , je suis de Chambly et il y a de la neige en route, parait il pour notre secteur dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi ...
Ça c'était il y as 3 semaines ... on en as eu d'autre depuis ! Mais c'est parfait pour le camping en tente chauffée ! J'ai bien l'intention de me gater cet hiver et d'en faire profiter mes abonnés , je trouve la combinaison camping et vidéographie vraiment bien ,juste assez a faire pour relaxer et ça me motive a sortir . On a pas tous la même description d'une journée "magnifique " mais je te comprend parfaitement ! Tu as même fait voler ton drone par ce temps , le petit oiseau électronique devait avoir hâte de rentrer au bercail . La neige tombait en masse à voir l'accumulation sur ta veste . Tu préfères pas avoir une coquille de style Goretex par ce temps au lieu de mouiller ta belle veste en laine? Quand je regarde ton camps sous la neige , je me dis que si un jour je m'équipe ça va pas mal ressembler à ce que tu as , mais peut être en un peu plus haut pour être capable de me tenir debout. Belle sortie en tout cas , c'est de valeur que ta carte SD ait décidé de geler , tu étais bien parti . Rappelle moi l'huile d'hiver que tu utilises dans ta Milwaukee stp

J'avais tellement hate de voir une journée comme celle la ! La mosusse de coquille etait sur l'établis a la maison ... tsé quand tu part pressé ... J'aime beaucoup ce set up , c'est le grand luxe ! Le rapport surface habitable vs poids de cette tente est excellent ! J'ai eu toute une surprise avec LES cartes SD ...meme modèle acheter au meme endoit ...les deux kapout , flambant neuve ! tout les fichiers corrompus ...J'en avais déja 6 qui sevent depuis 1 an, zéro problème ,-35,pluie ,neige ... Pour l'huile ,il faut de la légère en hiver , j'utilise souvent la Lubri delta ,facile a trouver ici ,peu dispendieuse et fait bien le travail . toujours un plaisir d'avoir tes commentaires ! :)

Thank you ! The tent do extremely in the snow ,wind and rain . My only gripes are the stove jack and condensation . The stove jack as a too big hole and the material is not that strong ,i will replace it with a Pomoly . As for condensation , it mainly happen when cooking or if you leave the floor uncovered when there is snow ,cracking the top of the side and back door a few inches for a while take care of this .An excellent tent ,hope this help ! This is an excellent tent ,easy to set up, good in the wind and snow, crack the doors open a bit if you cook inside to limit condensation . Only the stovejack is not really to my taste , a bit flimsy with a too big hole , apart from that il like this thing a lot . Thanks for watching and commenting !
