- I absolutely love these bimini tops! I now own two, one for the Pond Prowler 10' and now my Sundolphin American 12' plastic jon boat. They are super easy to install, even easier to pop up and retract and provide ample shade. It's over 100 degrees here daily in Florida, this is a game changer!

nice job man, looks good. i upgraded from a kayak to a pond prowler this year, due in part to watching a bunch of your content. I have loved it so far, it slides right into the back of my minivan, and ive got a 4hp hangkai motor on it, gets me out there to catch em and in comfort

Having owned two plastic boats, it works better to not pre drill the holes. I just run the screws in, and because no material was removed, they’re self sealing. Another plus is if you want to remove whatever you installed, you can close up the holes with a soldering iron, and it’s like they were never there.
That’s interesting! I was under the impression you have a greater risk at cracking the plastic but sounds like that’s not true
@@GreysonRoberts Can’t really crack HDPE. It’s very soft. Of course I don’t know what material the Sun Dolphin is made from, but the Prowler is HDPE.

I have a three bow for a 54 w . The boat is 52 w little bend works great min Kota to the front and my Merc 6 Two stroke.My wife loves the clamp on seats. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ my Tadpole II.
You can also get the sides for the Binmi have them too ,more shade if you prefer.

Hi @GreysonRoberts. Now that you had the opportunity to be on the Pond Prowler and the Jon Boat with your wife and gear, how is the stability in comparison and the freedom to move around on the 2 boats?
Much more room for two people on the jon boat but wife says the prowler is definitely more stable and comfortable. You get much more room in the Jon but have to be more careful when moving around
