This was like watching a movie, especially at the end when it starts to turn night and you're fighting the rex plus the 3 spino henchmen. But once you finally took out the rex the fear set in and they started to retreat.

Herbivores arent actually that easy to kill, even the "basic" animal in real life is hard to kill like buffalo... just look how huge struggle has a bunch of lions to hunt it down and risk own life. This is why I love Anky I’ve played too many dino survival games playing a herbivore that has to run from apexes and in the games The Isle and Beasts of Bermuda Ankylosaurs suffer terribly. PoT finally made Anky the realistic solo tank dinosaur it was meant to be. There’s a reason why this dinosaur survived along side T-rex AND why t-rex left it alone! It’s nice to finally play something that once you’ve mastered it’s a real challenge to be reconned
3 out of the 5 herbivores in the isle currently are very capable at fighting the largest carnivores, and in bob you can grow any herbivore into an op juggernaut

Plus the Anodontasaurus in this video was extremely overconfident as hell and started going TOWARDS the attackers who've had enough of it, like they are the invincible dinosaurs of Path of Titans, even though 4 or more Metricanthosaurus or Megalania can kill it. So it's either... 1. The Rex players are new, and aren't as skilled as other players and are learning more about the game. 2. The Anodontasaurus player probably isn't very skilled at the game and decides to be an Anodontasaurus which most people keep calling it Ankylosaurus for some bizarre reason. 3. Or both.

PoT makes sure stats are somewhat balanced and the pvp in the game is so good, at the end of the day it doesn't matter what creature you play since you can slowly chip away a full grown rex health as something small. your dino's damage doesn't matter 🤷🏻♀ your skills do and that's what I like about the game.

Therefore they should definitely have things fall prone if they get hit enough, to give it a chance to finish off it's attacker. Or change the defense stuff around so it has more natural defense and the boost from crouching isn't as significant so they can actually move for a moment without it being a death sentence. There's absolutely no reason everything should just be able to run up, do some damage and facetank it, then walk 3 steps away and lay down safely knowing it can't come over to you.
Cuz hes so low to the ground and a theropod which is most carnivores stand upright on 2 legs so you got a big distance from the head to the ground compared to say the tail or hind legs to the ground....sooooo you'd have to get in real close on the front of a theropod to get the hit boxes, or go to the back of a theropod and im sure the wind up will hit more often....
@@starfighter1043 Bone break can still be applied to body hits, I'm pretty sure. Even when you do hit the legs directly it still doesn't work sometimes.

It's just the hitboxes tho that's why it dont hit sometimes and yeah you gotta be closer to the legs bb will break bones pretty sure anywhere if tou hit the hit box....if you headshot w BB pretty sure it'll break the leg always....but yeah hitboxes are pretty whacky...I main metri allo and Cera and metri and Cera are smaller dinos so I can attest to the small hitboxes having to be more on point which makes tou put yourself more in danger too...

yeah the clans do make a lot of players quit the game intierly. I have 13 friends in POT and i took a break for 5 months, guess how many of those 13 players are still playing after checking the friendslist each day... none. Pain if you dont like to rely on community servers

Best way to kill a anky is had the two trex stack tyrant roar so everyone gets stacked damage and hit it from 4 different angles it only can hit one target at a time while its being damaged and it is being mutipled by 4 and stacked damage on top of the buff
Yeah this is why I like to play hyper realistically I only go after hard kills when I'm desperate for food. I'm never going after hard kills when my hunger is still at 90%.
Also, If this isn't an official server these carnivorous are deadbrainers, like dude you will get almost no food from it anyway and you will starve more
Fr, everytime I play ano a T. rex is always wasting time winding up bone break just to land 20 seconds on my while he lost a quarter of his health. Do they think it does damage or something, because bone break doesn’t do any actual damage lol

I have never played this game and have no idea how the different dinos in this game perform, but I really hope they didn't make spino capable of going after an adult anky, and that those players were just terrible. Spino isn't a fighter. It's a fisher, lurking in the water to pounce on fish. It should almost be treated as a herbivore in the game, sitting in the water instead of going after other players.
I agree, spinos jaws would crack hard if it went after an anky. Also, dont get this game. Its laggy as hell, unbalanced, devs are lazy af, maybe often but very bland updates, contact with mods is PRIMITIVE (literally, i been waiting for them to reply for over a week). Also, with deathlyrage and his history of sucky coding and breaking games for his own narvissistic purpose also sucks. Dont waste your money on this utter piece of garbage. I do leave it mainly cause of good memories, but got no hope for the damn game.

Tbh, I kinda wish they did add a PvE game mode in this that had like AI herds of herbivores or packs of carnivores, so some people can kinda take a break from PvP, but thats just me.
Hey just did this last night lmao thanks for the tips I did it for the first time after watching this video if you have the camera on the left or right side of your head and turn your screen the opposite so it doesn’t make your camera Face the way your looking at the same time your turning is much easier to hit people and defend yourself wish I could just upload stuff so I don’t have to type it out confusedly lol
They say you can only go for juvis asif they weren't attacking you, completely going over the group size limit and the juvi was the only one attacking, the adults were too busy hitting the ground running

This game is cool, the only problems that bug me are that growing is kinda dubious, predator prey team ups, and mix packing. The predator prey team ups are the most annoying thing in this game and their so try hard too.
Normally I would call this OP because half the dinosaurs in that pack evolved specifically to crush bone and bring down armored prey irl. But when megapacking and mixpacking are a thing it isn't an issue purely for balance purposes.

In the latest research it's found that the bone armor on them had evolved to make it not only ultra hard but in a way where it would have been nearly impossible for a large predator to get its jaws around it to apply pressure. It was probably extremely rare for a large carnivore including a rex to take one down.

A broken bone makes it so the carnivore cant get away anyway. I don't think being able to make things fall prone is at any means necessary.

@@acidic_7 clearly that's not true, he broke the Rex's legs like twice and they kept getting away. Because the ano would get killed if it chased after them, they only have to limp a couple steps and they're out of reach.
@@colecampbell1906 Anos whole purpose it to be an extremely defensive dino. It was never meant to be insane at attacking tho. Its the type of thing thats really hard to kill, but you can easily get away from it, or just not bother it it all.
@@acidic_7 and? What does that have to do with anything? You said bonebreak already makes it so they can't get away, that's not true at all because of what I already mentioned. Therefore they should definitely have things fall prone if they get hit enough, to give it a chance to finish off it's attacker. Or change the defense stuff around so it has more natural defense and the boost from crouching isn't as significant so they can actually move for a moment without it being a death sentence. There's absolutely no reason everything should just be able to run up, do some damage and facetank it, then walk 3 steps away and lay down safely knowing it can't come over to you.

I love playing ano but it's frustrating when the wind up bone break ability doesn't work half the time.
Cuz hes so low to the ground and a theropod which is most carnivores stand upright on 2 legs so you got a big distance from the head to the ground compared to say the tail or hind legs to the ground....sooooo you'd have to get in real close on the front of a theropod to get the hit boxes, or go to the back of a theropod and im sure the wind up will hit more often....
@@starfighter1043 Bone break can still be applied to body hits, I'm pretty sure. Even when you do hit the legs directly it still doesn't work sometimes.

It's just the hitboxes tho that's why it dont hit sometimes and yeah you gotta be closer to the legs bb will break bones pretty sure anywhere if tou hit the hit box....if you headshot w BB pretty sure it'll break the leg always....but yeah hitboxes are pretty whacky...I main metri allo and Cera and metri and Cera are smaller dinos so I can attest to the small hitboxes having to be more on point which makes tou put yourself more in danger too...

yeah the clans do make a lot of players quit the game intierly. I have 13 friends in POT and i took a break for 5 months, guess how many of those 13 players are still playing after checking the friendslist each day... none. Pain if you dont like to rely on community servers

Best way to kill a anky is had the two trex stack tyrant roar so everyone gets stacked damage and hit it from 4 different angles it only can hit one target at a time while its being damaged and it is being mutipled by 4 and stacked damage on top of the buff

I have never played this game and have no idea how the different dinos in this game perform, but I really hope they didn't make spino capable of going after an adult anky, and that those players were just terrible. Spino isn't a fighter. It's a fisher, lurking in the water to pounce on fish. It should almost be treated as a herbivore in the game, sitting in the water instead of going after other players.
Any carnivore in the game can technically go after an adult anky. Surviving the ordeal is another matter.

I agree, spinos jaws would crack hard if it went after an anky. Also, dont get this game. Its laggy as hell, unbalanced, devs are lazy af, maybe often but very bland updates, contact with mods is PRIMITIVE (literally, i been waiting for them to reply for over a week). Also, with deathlyrage and his history of sucky coding and breaking games for his own narvissistic purpose also sucks. Dont waste your money on this utter piece of garbage. I do leave it mainly cause of good memories, but got no hope for the damn game.
They should at least slow its regen so it can just walk away, sit for 30 seconds and regen 20mins of Carnis work

It's a bit buggy so 50-75% of the time, the bonebreak doesn't register, from my experience and from what I've seen in this video.
This game is cool, the only problems that bug me are that growing is kinda dubious, predator prey team ups, and mix packing. The predator prey team ups are the most annoying thing in this game and their so try hard too.
Not to mention beginners who attempt to play to game on mobile but haven’t realized they need to pay 30 dollars for all of the unlockables in the game

Normally I would call this OP because half the dinosaurs in that pack evolved specifically to crush bone and bring down armored prey irl. But when megapacking and mixpacking are a thing it isn't an issue purely for balance purposes.

In the latest research it's found that the bone armor on them had evolved to make it not only ultra hard but in a way where it would have been nearly impossible for a large predator to get its jaws around it to apply pressure. It was probably extremely rare for a large carnivore including a rex to take one down.
