I have the big brother to the zg227, I have the ZG327 and it's been a great mower
The biggest. Celling point on the zg 222. Zg 227. Zg327 is the trans axel . witch is shaft drive . The. Mower. Is driven by shaft to a gear box that has its own oil bath . The only belt is on the mower ( And it is doubled cogged ) This is a way ahead of it time true commercial Zero Turn . This Salemen is correct. You will not be disappointed. With this zero Turn . a 2024. 227 Runs $ 12,500. There is a Reason for This ...

I’ve zg227 for 12years excellent mower , my lawns look great. I’ve mowed a lot of grass 5or 6 foot long and leaves it looking like a lawn . It is amazing bit of a nack to it. My customers are amazed. I got my new zg227 today not much has changed the seat back not as high. But still a happy customer. Great mower .

We've had a ZD221 we bought with less then 500hrs on it for 2 seasons now, Its an awesome zero turn mower!
How can you get better blade tip speed with the zg222? I’d like it to be around 18,500-19,000 but it seems the shaft driven mowers lack in the cut quality department where the z411KW 48 gets 18,800 btp
