I had a radial wrist fracture without displacement. I was in a cast for 3 weeks and a splint for 5 weeks. When the splint was taken off I could barely do these or any wrist exercises. It's been a month since I started doing these and I can say my wrist is at 75%. There is still soreness but have a lot of mobility again. Just keep it up and you'll see improvement.

Thank you for commenting this! I’ve been in a cast for 10 weeks, and a splint for four weeks😫 just got everything off today… this comment gave me hope because boy does it not feel like I will ever be able to use this hand/wrist again.

Wanted to thank you a thousand times over for this video. I'm so obstinate that even after having two rods inserted and a bone transplant for my broken wrist, I started doing your exercises BEFORE the cast was even off. (10 week cast). My orthopedic surgeon was in total awe when I could do all the exercises you show here the day the cast came off, plus lift a half gallon of cleaner in his office, along with other trials he put me through. I started off lifting an empty coffee cup and worked my way up to a half gallon of milk, also before the cast was off. If it wasn't for you two, I would have had to endure 10 weeks of therapy with people I didn't want to be with. Not my kind of fun! You're amazing! You did wonders for me and I'm 68 years old, but in good shape and hike 5 miles a day. You guys rock! ! ! Thanks so much again. When something's out of whack, you're the first place I go for reference. And love you're rather 'dorky' sense of humor. Complement, not insult. :-)

I broke my wrist over 5 years ago. I developed an embarrassing dermatitis on my hands around the same time. spent years hiding my hands and never fully regained full use of my wrist. my dermatitis was cured this month and now I realize how much I further crippled myself. but now that I am not ashamed of my hands I can focus on moving them and my wrist. thank you for posting. I should have been working on pt years ago.

Great Vid Gents! Being a guitar player fracturing my wrist isn't the best move I ever made. I have a plate in my wrist after surgery... been about 2 weeks since surgery. MD took hard cast off, and gave me a soft one to take off periodically, shower, etc. So that's here I'm at...I did your exercises for the wrist today first time. Thanks again for that. I'm also a patented inventor. So I rigged up a guitar pick to use even before surgery when the pain was really bad. I can now use another variation of the pick to play with the soft cast about 10 min. per playing session. If anyone is interested I can show you how to create this pick for yourselves. Also Bob & Brad. I can create anything that you would need for your practice as well. Maybe we would patent the best of the best for market. So, let me know about that also. I was wondering if there were any specific exercise's that would get me playing faster with ought the need for a modified pick...basically back to normal playing. Thanks, Rocko

Are we having fun yet? Ow ow ow OW got my left cast off yesterday and have been fitted with a very fancy and expensive brace, just removed it very gently washed 4 pounds of dead nasty skin off (eww, I know!) and was able to take a good look at the lumpy bumpy mess that I call my Wrist. I had been doing some of those exercises on my own just to keep my fingers mobile, getting washed and dressed and things like that actually require fingers. I did try bending my wrist a little bit but it hurt too much so it's back to painting birdhouses again with my casted right hand. I can still flip the bird pretty well, though. The right-hand not as easily which was a Colles fracture, so that one is more of a horizontal maybe 30° bird....

Bob and Brad never answer questions. I've gone through the feed and not a single question answered which is alarming as we're all in a rehabilitation period of some type and one needs advice. We look to professionals to self diagnose these days so can you be as professional in replying as you are in your videos.

i need help and someone please answer this quickly
So basically i have soccer camp soon but I really don't want to go to it. I really want to go to tennis camp and when I asked the doctor they said maybe in 2 weeks or so. So then I told my mom and she said no you're bone has to heal fully until you can do anything not this year (Because I got my cast off today) and she said doctor's are wrong and you should listen to me. I told her doctors know more than you and they went to medical school and she still said no because tennis is a sport that uses a wrist and you don't want to break it again on the same spot or else you will have to get on another cast and get actual surgery. Keep in mind that the tennis camp is two weeks from the time this comment is posted and I think that it will be healed enough so I can play tennis camp. I really don't want to go to soccer camp but they are making me go because soccer is a sport that doesn't require using the wrist but I really want to go to tennis.
    what should i do ?!?!
