Hi- I always liked the Cali model by DR Horton!! planning to move to North Carolin in the spring and would love to purchase one of these properties with a similar lot and neighborhood. The space is ideal for what I am looking for is there a HOA??
Good evening. I love the Cali plan! Yes this community, Bella Point, does have an HOA. You’ll find most DR Horton communities do in our area. However the HOAs are typically a little less restrictive than some of the nightmare HOAs you hear about. The HOA is $696 a year and includes a community pool.

Have you had any issues with your new home? I only ask because we're currently under contract for our DR Horton home and all of a sudden, all I'm seeing are really awful reviews and horrific issues with people's new homes. Naturally, this has caused some nervousness.
Hi! That’s a common fear given the reviews and concerns I had myself. I don’t live in this particular home but I’ve lived in a DR Horton in another neighborhood nearby for 5 years now. I love it. I really think it depends on the area and neighborhood. I think you’ll be very happy. Just make sure to try to get all your punchlist items completed before closing. Happy to help if you need it.
