Beach, great food and great drinks is amazing. That's what makes me love the Caribbean. Seems like Costa Rica also has a part which is similar to this, very nice! Kayaking and Zip-lining both are such adventurous activities, worth doing during your trip. I like to be active during my holidays. And those views and wildlife are amazing! Great videos of CR, Phoebe! Thank you. What month did you travel, and what should expect for weather in late April & beginning of May?
We visited in November and found the weather to be hot and humid, experiencing a mix of sunny and very rainy days. Typically, Costa Rica has a tropical climate all year round with only two seasons: summer and winter! The summer or dry season is December to April and the winter or rainy season is May to November. Thank you so much! I think I may have filmed with my phone right at the start but then put it back in my locker and just used a GoPro with a pole and wrist strap (from memory 😊)
I'm taking some inspiration from this since my niche is similar - more geared towards helping people be digital entrepreneurs and actually build a life for themelves while I am living in Thailand but awesome stuff here.

I'd like to ask whether you had any difficulties communicating with the locals due to language differences, or whether most of them speak English. Hello! Oh wow, I'm so happy your research brought you here and that you enjoyed the video. You're going to have the BEST time in Costa Rica! We don't speak Spanish so I downloaded the Google Translate app to my phone and made sure I had the Spanish language downloaded within the app - for the most part, communicating with the locals was easy but there were definitely a few times when Google Translate saved the day! It works offline so you can type in what you're trying to say and it'll translate it - so easy! Cahuita is a better option than Manuel Antonio, especially if you want to avoid crowds/tourist trap. 3 km of crystal clear beaches with the jungle hike trail on the other side.

How is that Tarzan swing? It terrifies me haha. I'm going to the park in a couple of months, wasn't sure if the ziplining would be worth it but it looks very pretty. The best zipline I've ever done was in Croatia, it will be hard to beat so I can't wait to see this one.
Hahaha it was awesome!! Just don't look down when you're standing on the ledge and you'll be totally fine! ooooh zip lining in Croatia sounds like a lot of fun!

Hey Phoebe! Amazing video as always. On another note, how safe do you think CR is? As somebody had replied to my comment in your 2nd video about CR that it's not very safe. So I'd like to hear from you what your experience was like in CR in terms of how safe it is for tourists.
Hello!! Oh, yes, I saw that comment too! All I can do is share our experience and we felt safe in Costa Rica. I think San Jose, as a built-up city with a lot of people who are trying to survive, there's more crime of opportunity. We heard stories of people being pickpocketed and having their backpacks stolen but Matt and I are very diligent and it didn't happen to us. We kept our bags to the front of our bodies in built-up areas, like San Jose and at public bus terminals etc. We watched our luggage closely and always watched each other's backs and we had no issues whatsoever. Once we got out of San Jose, we felt safe everywhere we went but still kept to our usual safety practices! Hope that helps :) I love your avi/profile pic by the way - so cute!! We were pretty nervous before we visited too because we had never been to that part of the world before and didn't know what to expect at all! It can be a bit overwhelming when you read other people's info online!! Ohhhh I love her... I'd love to know her name? :) My grandma has two chihuahua's. One is appropriately named, 'Princess,' and the other is, 'Matilda.' They're both so cute and snuggly and disgustingly spoilt hahaha :D P x

We had a similar disappointing experience at the treehouse restaurant. in Monteverde. It looks cool but we found it overpriced and the service was terrible.

Yes they do sell photos I am pretty sure, not sure if they capture GoPro footage for you but I think you may be able to hire one? Try their website!

Question: to the places that you rode the horse with, is it the only way to get access to? I don’t ride horses, for ethical and fear reasons. Thank you!
Answer: Yes! Aside from the actual riding HQ all the places they took us were public spaces. I have no idea what the street names are etc but the whole area is really friendly and welcoming so you'd have no trouble exploring on foot or by car.

How did you get from monteverde to Manuel Antonio? Also about how long did it take to get there?
We had an Intrepid bus take us to a lake where we took a boat for about an hour then another bus. I think it took around 5-6 hours from memory? I hope that helps...
