Hes right about the weird vehicle laws tho; when buying a used vehicle in Canada (or at least in NS, where Im from) you only *NEED* insurance to BUY it and drive it home, on the assumption that you will be getting it registered within around a month or a couple weeks, idk the actual period. I have personally done this and had no trouble at any point. I would have assumed America had a similar grace period too
