This is the EVO SC Clear Body for Short Course Trucks. It is time to Evolve your Short Course truck into a true race machine with Pro-Line's all-new EVO SC body! After years of developing race winning bodies for Short Course trucks with advanced aerodynamic features, Pro-Line is ready to unleash the next Evolution of performance bodies!
The EVO SC body is designed with an aggressive sloped nose which keeps as much air as possible from getting under the hood; this decreases the dreaded parachute effect and gives you more control of your SC truck. The improved front down-force also enhances steering for quicker lap times. Pro-Line incorporated the maximum amount of vents possible in the rear of the body, while still maintaining long-lasting durability, in order to reduce drag, rear lift and weight as much as possible. All of these features add up to the most advanced Short Course Race Body ever constructed. If you want to stay on the top step of the podium you must Evolve with the EVO SC Body!
Don't forget to submit your finished Pro-Line body to Reader's Rides when you are done. Who knows, you could get your ride posted on the blog and you could even win a prize!

So helpful I nearly cut my own finger with coz the busy she'll is so tough. Thanks for this video I just order one diamont ponit right away. Good work
thanks super pumped i found your channel im picking up a losi eight t and 2 micro buggies tomorrow!! with a slash thrown in the mix as well one mans new baby born my bonus rc collection
NIce! You will be having fun soon! Have fun RCing!
The RCNetwork Perfect Video Thank you
Love your videos! Thank you!
And thanks for watching!
For some reason, going counter clockwise works for me, as you saw in the video. I also have a pretty firm hand on the product and the tool.
Great tip! Thanks. One question about trimming the complete body. What do you advise which tool is the best to use for trimming a lexan body? I always use a curved Tamiya scissor for cutting out the wheel openings. Is it better to use a knife or doesn't it matter?
I just got my Dremel with the bit you got on your Dremel and Mann is it good and very fun it's so easy and much cleaner
Nice! Dremels do make things easy in RC!
nice... i need to get that diamond cutting bit. great tip and surgeon like work. interesting that you paint, then do the cutouts.
+hsp-sandiego Thanks HSP. Yeah, that tip worked great, just gotta be careful the direction you cut.
Great idea, didn't think of that!
It's taken time, believe me! Thanks!
Great idea!
Thanks Pat!
Gees you made that look easy.
Hey RCNetwork, have you ever used JConcepts overtray on a Slash? Wondering the best way/ place to cut for cooling but small enough, or gridded to keep larger particals out.
A long time ago, on my first Slash, I did. I ended up cutting holes that was tsrategic for the cooling (mostly for the ESC/Motor and then cut screen mesh and shoe-gooed it in from the under side.
took me 6 cutting wheels to find this out when cutting some steel LOL
but now I've yet to brake a wheel and I have cut out some pretty cool RC stuff
It should be approx. the SCTE holes, but I always center the wheel wells. Keep in mind your SCT410 kit cam with all those extra angled body posts. They help to get the body perfect
Nice vid. Definately takes some practice using a dremel. I've had one slip cutting with my mastercraft dremel tool. Ended up getting some stitches from a nasty cut on my left index finger, ouch!! Its still a good way to use a dremel, especially cutting thick lexan
Thanks for watching.
i know this video is very old but a trick i found was to get little pieces of aluminum screen and use either e3000 or shoe goo and glue the pieces of screen over the openings that get cut in the body. believe it or not the screen and the glue help strenghten the body while still keeping the openings for airflow.
so how do you like the evo body? thinking of trying it out for my sc10.2. right now im testing out the JC nissan titan hiflow body. and it makes the truck feel really planted and stable. but still has a little bit of parachuting.
Nice!
whats the best way to fit my ford raptor body on my tekno sct? any ideas
they are dropping in prices because rumors are new models are on their way. but now is defiantly the best time to buy one.
I used a torch lighter to clean up the the rough edges works great
Nice! Great tip
I use a wood drill for rounded corners and a mini drill with a disc for straight cuts.
I've found wood drill bits to start to tear through...
Nice! when will the desc210 rtr review be out?-Brian
looks great for the number plates did u pre drill the body and plates
Yes, just used a body reamer
nail file should clean that up nice .smother it is, less chance to snag and rip, love my drem-. I'm going to have to pick up one of them bits. tky
do you have any pictures of the body on your SCT410?
+John Lytle I don't.....It fit quite well using the SCT410's multiple bodyposts and made the truck "look" smaller. Great body though
Just caught this video it’s funny because I just did the same thing with the same setup. I cut out windows to put in window nets
Nice! Thanks for watching
i bought a cordless 8220 dremel just for this, hopefully I can be as steady as you are while cutting the lexan body. Thanks for the video. Question - what tools / techniques do you use to cut your lexan bodies?
To score the body, just a sharp xacto knife, then peel the excess. I just got some PROTOform tools to fine tune edges and the wheel wells
The RCNetwork maybe I am not skillful enough, but I tried using the scoring method....with thinker lexan bodies...kind of hard, for me, to do that. Using lexan scissors doesn''t give a nice cut..
Scoring really works the best. You don't have to score too deep. Once it's scored, I start the year by using lexan scissors and then rip the lexan slowly.
The RCNetwork good idea. Thanks. I'll try that. Lead the cut with the scissors.
Awesome ill have mine by then I cant believe there only $200..
the slash is $250 with a XL5 pretty crazy..
If my body doesn't have paint yet can i still cut panels out or do i paint the body first and then cut the panels out
You can, I usually wait to cut so I don’t disrupt the overspray film on the exterior of the body
@@TheRCNetwork yeah thats what i was worried about alright thanks i'll just wait till i paint it
Like the red silver black
Thanks - it turned out pretty good
you should sand the edges down and sharpie it for it to look optimal
Yep, sanded them down, but don't have the patience for the sharpie
It should be out on Saturday
Can you remember what was the colour of silver in the middle? It looks titanium or champagne?
It was Pactra's Indy Silver, but the color change was due to the backing color, that was likely the Red
I have a pro line body I finished painting the body I got the decals how can I get them off the paper
Robert Lumia The decals that came with the body?? You'll have to score the decals with an Xacto knife to peel them from the sheet
Ok
I haven't ran it yet, probably next week. I did some testing on the Slash project, so that took up a lot of time at the track this week!
Wow i havent heard that rumor??
Yeah, $199 is a great deal on the 210
Use your wifes nail sanders or whatever the hell you call them for trimming up the flash.. I call them sanding sticks lol.
Grinder wheel would be better.
Not really, they're harder to control on lexan
Could have been half the time.
Make a video, then….
Now go back and read edit the video and get rid of the sound
Trolling are we?
