I owned one, but it was not a "Sandman". The Sandman began with the HJ. Mine was a GTS HQ panelvan, 308 motor, four speed with a slippery diff.

Probably stock.I would've put in a decent 2 inch system (including extractors),if it was my van.Nuff said.
