We had the best cars on the planet! I owned a HZ, it was a rare sports Premier 5Lt, which had over 750K KM, with only servicing & brake pads replaced.

Xcellent, had one 1978 . 253 cu inch donk . Green 4 speed extractors & a 350 holley .. regretted the day l sold it . Just a stupid decision on my behalf

I remember seeing Eloura Road above the beach at Cronulla just being a long line of Panel Vans parked parallel, rear to the kerb with the back raised looking out over the ocean. Sandmans, Fords and Chrysler Drifters (my favourite). I think the Sandman had the goods with it's interior. When interest in them died, they were being sold for a song. I which I'd had a large chook shed on a property somewhere so I could buy and store them all. I couldn't afford the insurance on one now.
