    Superb CZcams review matey - really honest and straight to the point - it doesn't need to be any more polished than the video you've just done to put across your valued opinion and the great video shots of the gun! - I have an HW44, love it to bits - I'm tempted now to check if Lloyd at BAR has a .177 Carbine BP in stock for collection tomorrow 😉

    Fantastic!!! I bought the HW 100KT last year. So well made. I wish that I could afford both rifles.

    Nice vid'. I've just bought an early 100 for pigeons and not so noisy benchrest practise for centrefire. I'm blown away with this rifle after the frustrating springers of my youth. Pellet on top of pellet at 30 yards sure came as a big surprise. I'll be looking out for your impressions of this wee beauty after you've had it out and about for a while.

    Nice bull pup! I'm in the states and i just purchased the Air Arms S510XS stealth hunter. I was racking my brain on which gun to buy and really like the hw 100 carbine and almost bought it. I have the hw 95 and the hw97 and love both of them for springers. My Air Arms will not be here till the end of this month at the earliest as they were out of stock and i had to pre-order. I still think i'm going to get a hw 100 eventually as i can't stop admiring it. Over here, since the pandemic guns and pellets are always out of stock!

    Nice review but I never owned a WH and I still have some questions; What is the shot count for .177 and .22? What is the total length? What is the weight? What is the max press? How many BAR to fill the tank?

    Hi mate, great vid buddy. Just good info with no fancy crap. I’m looking to go over to PCP and was just wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I’m not into the bullpup style rifles, I’m looking at the HW110, what’s your thoughts mate. Cheers.

    • @Danyorks
      @Danyorks  Před 4 lety

      Bullpups definitely aren't for everyone. I've never owned the 110 but I've handled them a few times. I really like them but general consensus is that if you can afford the extra then go for the 100.

    Shame no-one's come up with a custom stock for the HW100 BP(S&K). I hear the soft touch coating doesn't do too well with time. The beech wood under the coating although nice enough, isn't walnut, or laminate is it?

  • @Basin79
    @Basin79 Před 5 lety +4

    Yesterday I'd decided on a Wildcat mk2 after changing my mind from this. But now I'm once again on undecided. I think the Wildcat looks better. It's slightly cheaper and comes with a case. The Weihrauch hw100 BP is slightly more expensive, comes with a silencer and is a Weihrauch. So the build quality and reliability are 2nd to non.

    • @dale_ch
      @dale_ch Před 4 lety

      Basin79 - you know what - I had exactly the same dilemma as you this weekend - BMW or Mercedes? - after many further hours of research, watching videos etc. - go with the Weihrauch - well that's my decision after the same dilemma as yours .... (I own a HW44 - so I know the Weihrauch quality and it is excellent) ..... 👍

    Very nice review. I do have two HW100, one karbine and one full length.
    Do I need a BP? Obviously not but I want one. Not sure if I am going fir BP karbine or standard. Most people seems to recommend standard one but I feel Standard BP is going to be similar to my hw100k in length and heavy which will defeat the whole concept of lighter and compact BP.
    How did you get on with your BP?

    • @Danyorks
      @Danyorks  Před 4 lety +1

      That's exactly the reason I went for the karbine BP

    • @Danyorks
      @Danyorks  Před 4 lety

      To be honest I've always shot .22, I haven't had a .177 since I was a kid. I do find rats are hard to kill outright so imagine that a .22 will have the advantage over the .177 when it comes to maximum damage.

    Superb gun but.... be carefull with that picatinny rail. It's plastic!! Not eaven a balistic polimer. I mean cheap plastic lile a toy gun. If you put a heavy night vision scope with a iluminator it can deform and mine eaven started to come out of the dove tale. Absolutly ridiculous... I had to buy a metalic one and make screw holes in it to attach it to the gun.... never expecyed such ridiculous thing from Weirauch
