This is the bike that made me want to learn to ride. After 6 years I finally got a '94, loved that bike. Kept it for a good 5 years before a crash totaled it. It was mint. Now I have a '93. OG colors FTW.
I have owned at least one of every variation of the 900rr series, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 99, 2000, and a 03. My fav was the 94 I rebuilt from the ground up and the 99 track bike I built. All in All the funnest bikes I have ever owned !
Found an 18k mile mostly original 94. 2k on the sign then dude dropped to 15. Jardine exhaust and jetted for it. When I can't fix it anymore I'm still not selling it. Having a friend/neighbor that went to school for em doesn't hurt. This and my old 87 hurricane 600 favorite two bikes ever.
The 90's voiceover is cheesy as you would expect. But unlike almost all of these sales pitch hype sessions, everything said about the RR has proven to be true. Nothing could touch it in when it was new, and it was one of the most important sportbikes of all time. Back in the day you either had one of these or wished you did, at least until the R1 came out...
I love mine, working on getting some videos up with in, including a restoration/full history break down, I'm really excited as more and more information is unlocked and my plans and course of action are becoming more clear
Great video...I just got a 93 with 6700 miles on it in excellent condition. Rebuilt the carbs, changed the fluids, new plugs and she fired right up.... So what do I do? Laid it down in a uturn...Scraped it up a lil bit....My response at 66 is the same when I was 16....never mind the blood..😱...Oh shit !!! my bike...My sons think I'm crazier!!!!......😁..Sweet bikes....
Just got mine today! I have two the red white blue and the black grey orange sick as fuck don't fuck with the original!!!! power loyalty and respect Fresno CA
I paid $1200 for this one $1500 for my black grey orange one will never sell em maybe I will get embalmed laying across both of em very fast super handling and that vintage honda look I get compliments all the time! Sexy timeless machines back when bikes had soul......
Love it..... Glad I own one and for good measure a 1000RR Brogi Rep as well. If you cut me in half like a stick of rock. It’s says HONDA!!!!!!!!!!! The power of dreams.....
2:24 He says 'This machine was designed for one purpose. To be the most exciting, surefooted, high tech STREET BIKE ever made'. Was this really a 'street bike' back then despite the RR designation!?
Yes, the RR designation is still used today on many bikes from pretty much all makers. it is race ready, but still street legal. There is a lot of things you have to do to a bike that carries the RR designation even before you can race them. It just means pretty much all you need to do is safety wire the bike and send it!
I must say, I always wanted this bike because I love the look, but when I drove one, the handling didn't convince me. I own a YZF750R from '94, and its handling and suspension and brakes are much better - she has less torque, ok, but the yzf feels way sportier to me. And they are so cheap! 😊
to bad rebuild kits are discontinued for the 1992-1999 900rr cause that means these bikes end up in the trash when the engines go. But that is the fate of most motorcycles.

One of my all time faves 🤟💯
The God of bikes! I got this bike and I won't trade it for anything... not even a brand new CBR1000.
Old, but lethal.
I just bought one last month. 1993 900RR, red/white/blue, 12k miles, 100% flawless mint condition. I'm never selling it.
How has the bike been doing the last 8 years?
@@starstencahl8985He sold it
Favorite bike of the 90s!
I have had an opportunity to purchase this amazing bike on 2 occasions. It's a classic and I won't miss again.

Have a 99 greatest ever
Love the early 90's corniness of this vid. If anyone reading this wants one of these I have a mint 94 for sale.
Laguna seca?
just got a 93 blade
first ever gopro
It's a helluva bike for sure but what kept the '93 from being perfect was the pretend USD front end. Wtf???
I have one, they are an awesome bike. To the guy that said something about an R1, my 900rr would leave an R1 in the dust.
I owned one of these back in the day, brand new. Man, I got a lot of ass on that bike!
So you have a big ass!!!! just kidding.
(Laughs in GSX-R)
