    I was a field tester , some of those synchronized motor were like 10k HP ,1986 fun job !

    GORGEOUS Mush wound stator, very slow RPM. 330 RPM??? Then into the VPI tank, also very CLEAN. Nice video.

    I did this right out of high school 1971 to 1974. $1.67 per hour I think. I did it all cut insulation, wound coils by hand and counted turns and inserted into the generators som of them over 4 feet in diameter. I was dept.. lead man when I left

    Just a few hundred years ago, all these machineries, tecnologies creating more tecnologies. All of this would have been considered sci fi and yet it's all real. And they're so abundant and ubiquitous no one even is amazed anymore.

    Really amazing, we had a manufacturing facility that does this same work but in a lower scale...the biggest part we built is a 2 MWatt generator. Really amazing operation!

    Seeing the places they were installed reminded me of where I last worked. Instead of using water to produce power, we moved water for environmental or flood control purposes. Mostly with Diesels but our medium size pump stations all had at least one electric motor driven main pump. All were 150 HP driving a 48 inch outlet pump. Those places were kept like you see in the video as we mopped down every Friday and swept down at the end of every shift. Places kept clean enough you could eat off of the floors.

    Fabulous machines. Curious how the Chinese are able to insert the windings more efficiently during the manufacturing process (look in youtube for Chinese motor production). The TES' process looks very manual and laborious. The results are quite beautiful, though.
