Regarding that borgor I am not surprised. A lot of them have a history of preying on Liberian women and using Liberian women as a play thing. Some will allow it because of lack of resources and other's won't tolerate that. As stated, he wont do that nonsense to the women from his ethnicity but will try it with us. He will go through his rude awakening one day.
Exactly. He never would have disrespected someone's wife from his ethnic. It's sad that in their eyes they have a lowered view of Liberian woman.

Speaking from experience regarding men in Liberia, foreigners or not, some have become so disrespectful to women and have the audacity to think every woman is desperate for a man. Regardless of poverty (Especially amongst women) in our country is no excuse for any man to impose or assume he can get any and every woman, especially when she is married. This is how rape and other crimes can fester in a society.
You handled the situation very well. Instead of jumping to conclusions, you let him put the noose on his neck, then you yanked it. Kudos! Continue to be respectful to others because it’s from within, but know when to be assertive and cut out their BS. If possible, block his number because his intentions are not pure. Networking should be a comfort zone. Thanks for sharing and take care👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Hello Joy I think you handled the situation accordingly, however I personally believe that based on your encounter, these things do happened all the time with our Liberian women. My wife is one who is a go getter and like to handle her own affairs especially when it comes to construction she loves getting involve. This same scenario almost played out but what I did with the foreigner at city builders, I had to check his ass from gate, no chaser! When he called I picked the phone up to put him on notice that Homie don't don't play that shit, excuse my French! Men will be men and the cheating he was trying to do with you he did not expect you to rebuff his advances. He thought you were in need. In the future I would suggest that you have my brother give him a quick call, and ask him if he is in need of medical attention! Also some factors you should look at or consider, he is in a foreign land and he is doing what he probably would normally do if he was back home. They do that with our sisters because it's safer for them to go outside of their own communities because it is safer for them not to get caught. Liberia is a playground for them. Keep in mind I'm not condoning his behavior. I believe in protecting my wife when it comes to things like this. In the beginning she used to say it was jealousy and I don't trust her, but as time went on she got to know that man will take her kindness or her being polite as a green light to proceed with the nonsense. Anyway let me stop here before I say too much.

You are right regarding foreigners positioning themselves to take advantage of our women because of the low level economic status in Liberia. Please also be noted that similar situation like this is very common with men in general. Men do this kind of stuff regardless being a foreigner.
When the invitation to take you out was presented, letting him know that your husband was going to be a part of the date, should had been your response. I believe that would had been the way to ease him out without being disrespectful.

I wish I could say all my heart wants on here, but let me summarise: this is the kind of videos that should be going forward but we can just hope Liberians support by sharing this video. First of all whatever he's wealthy" of should never be that high that he should have the right to talk to the women from the country he's surviving in - if you were in/from a European country, he would have been happy to have your number with sincere respect just for the prestige that comes with it but that's a whole different story!
They do worse than this: I saw a video from another Liberian CZcamsr telling us to buy their appliances when it was ONE Liberian I saw in the company T-shirt, when from the cashier to the tour guy are all from the Middle East!!!! I was paste that nobody could see that but me in the comments. So we the poor people (Liberian) should use our money and buy from them while we're not worthy of working in the store!!! Matter worse, it was a Liberian advertising the store products 😢😒🙄
