Actually spot didn’t come out in the 2014 mcoc
Instead mcoc was released in 2014 but spot was added in 2022
It's just saying the release of the game's year. Just like they had Ultimate Spider-Man show Miles Morales and say 2012, when the show didn't show him until 2014.
@@baligong3592 Yeah but 8 years is enough of a leap that it should be worth mentioning.
@@baligong3592 it should’ve said the specific year in that one too. It misinforms people. For example, I didn’t know the MCoC spot was released in 2022, I just went with what the video said (2014) and I was giving marvel props for putting in an underrated Spider-Man villain in the game, but now that I know he was put in 2022, it’s obvious he was only added to coincide with the movie, and not cus marvel was giving the spotlight to an underrated villain. “Talk about being in a tight spot.”
😂😂😂 Spider-Man honestly has the best one liners 😂
That one liner can be interpreted differently considering that 'Spot' is his name 😏
I love the diversity in body shapes they give us in spiderverse. He’s giving me “Uncle” vibes, because he doesn’t have the full dad bod yet, but there’s potential. He’s not just magically ripped like every super hero or villain 😂
The fact that he didn't want to become the spot is probably why he isn't built like that
It really works as a visual reminder of his backstory and how he didn’t want to be the Spot but did. It also makes him stand out from the pack, and considering how he lost everything and personally blamed Spider-Man for it really adds to how he felt about being viewed as just “a villain of the week”. He had lost everything and the person he held responsible saw him as just another villain, no different from the ones he already fought.
Yeah, and I love how most of the Spidey people are built kinda like gymnists, you can tell what they do all day by their body shape. They did a really great job with the character designs here because even their body portotions and shapes are helping to tell their story's.
He looked pretty good before he became the Spot.

@@Anon_Amos. bro the bagel was barely the reason he hated him 💀
@@Rogue_artist3 Yeah, but it’s funnier to think he’s doing what he’s doing in Spiderverse over a bagel.
The Spot's powers are actually pretty strong for someone considered as a minor villain to Spiderman. He can redirect all attacks through his portals and make very unpredictable moves, plus in theory
he could possibly land a very devastating blow by building momentum through falling down multiple portals and then hitting his opponents with a strike comparable to being punched by a man falling from skyscraper. Across the spiderverse definitely made him stronger by giving him dimension hopping abilities, but if they were to stick with just the original concept, I think he's still very underused by the writers with a lot of potential to be stronger than he's shown in the comics. One power they're definitely avoiding due to age restriction ratings is the ability to cut off limbs by closing off a portal before someone fully passed through. Imagine a fight with Spidey where he catches one of Peter's punches with a portal, only to close it an cut his hand right off. But they'll never do that cuz that's too OP.
Bro didn’t care about the K.O,

THY END IS NOW
Idk why anyone thinks this is a joke villain. I’ve always ranked portals as one of the top powers to have.
Because some people don't use there brain if spot want to open a portal whre the sun is at an throw you through it who can stop him
thats because the Spot is often used as a example by the comic writers of villains with powerful abilities, but too stupid to fully use them hence his joke villain status until Across the Spiderverse.
@@jahmoymignott4081well, if we’re going off what he does in the shows and comics, I think he has a limited range as to where he can throw a portal.
Thats why Obito was such a problem in Naruto
He’s also a joke villain because he’s portrayed as a goofy character, rather than a malicious criminal. He’s portrayed similarly in the 90s series as he is in the movie, an awkward, harmless dork.
The Spot is honestly such a cool villain. He snowballed SO fast into being an actual threat

Some versions of the spot the black spots don’t actually look like holes, in across the spiderverse they made it really clear they were holes
A thing I really got to say I like about the Spider-Verse Villains is that they never downgraded them in anyway and always made every Spider-Man Villain have a good amount of lines, good entrance(Minus Spot), and I like the fact that they also went with comic book accurate villains
1994 spot is who I grew up remembering, Crazy and awesome to see him on the big screen at his true potential. Spot Is a Avengers/ Guardians level threat in all honesty. but Spiderman is the one that has to deal with him. Why I always loved Spiderman, he just has awesome villains and always fighre out a way to stop them.
