I liked how they foreshadowed he was in wrong universe by the color of his room and jacket purple and green Prowler colors vs the red blue jacket he wore earlier in the movie 😊
And the mum’s eyes are green not brown
They foreshadowed it long before he actually got there; the machine literally shows Earth-42 during the sequence of when it's building the cocoon.
Not really foreshadowing as when he goes back, we see the machine scan his DNA and it says Earth 42 on the screen

Also, when he met Spider-Man in his universe, his spidy senses were green and purple before they turned red and blue

I think Aaron already knew this miles was an imposter already. He was just acting like nothing was wrong just to test this miles out in order to catch him off guard and would later question him. Pretty sure Miles 42 and Aaron saw him coming in through the room.

Y'all read the comic book pages at 5:17 Miles 42 and Uncle Aaron are vigilantes and they work as a team. Uncle Aaron says "you and I are gonna take care of a bad guy, a real bad guy", which might mean that they work together to keep the city safe

pretty sure thats just comic aaron panels slapped on, but i never read the og miles run so im no expert lol. I will say thst you can clearly see Mile's spider suit in those pages though so im not sure that it has as much bearing on the plot as it seems
5:12 a part of me questioned why spider reflexes didn’t work in time. It occurred to me maybe spider senses didn’t work for “self-inflicted” knockouts 🤛. Anyway, I’m sure Aaron will never let any version of his beloved nephew die, regardless if he is from another dimension.
Spider sense doesn't usually work against Venom for similar reasons, iirc the symbiote was part of him so it just doesn't see it as a threat to himself
The reason Miles couldn't dodge 42 Prowler is cause they are technically the same person. Similar to Venom. The symbiote bonded with Peter for so long it became part of him, the same person.

The reveal of Prowler being Miles in universe 42 was JAW DROPPING AS HELL in the cinemas, everyone lost their minds back then, and we went MAD BECAUSE WHY THE MOVIE FINISHED RIGHT THERE
A really cool detail we can notice when prowler miles reveals his face, is that his face is slightly smaller than our miles'. He is also skinnier, which prolly is due to prowler miles not getting the growth spurt due to not getting bitten by the radioactive spider.

Despite being slimmer and shorter, Prowler Miles' face looks a lot more battle hardened and even scarred. I guess the loss of his dad and living in a completely crime infested city wore him down a lot quicker than our Miles
I just noticed that in the first movie, Uncle Aaron was introduced in a similar way, Miles coming to his apartment, record player, soundboard, but this time the music is just different, softer, so that it’s not quite the same… Nice touch and callback
I’m a huge spider man fan and I’ve got to say these spider verse movies are some of the best work I’ve seen from a fan perspective. The miles story line is done so well I can’t wait for the 3rd film.
Man, Miles meets the Prowler is still one of the coldest moments in Cinema. The music was perfect.

I just realized that Miles' spidey sense didn't go off when the Prowler knocked him out - I wonder if the fact that he's being attacked by "himself" is some kind of blind spot that prevents him from sensing the danger
I think it was just plot armour to end the movie without a expensive animated fight.
It’s the same principle with Venom, because the symbiote used to bond with Peter Parker and so has part of his DNA, which means it doesn’t trigger his spider-sense.

We see Prowler with 2 gloves when he attacked Miles but gone when inside the house and uncle Aaron repairing one glove. My guess is Prowler must've touched Miles' hands and both gloves must short circuited or been damaged. Maybe the other glove isn't repaired or too damaged to fix
It could just be from punching Miles. Regular bad guy goons broke their hands whenever they punched Peter Parker.
Or could just be replacing the batteries after Prowler Miles returned from his "prowling".

The idea of Miles being held hostage in another universe while The Spot is in his is absolutely wild. This is honestly the greatest cliffhanger in a sequel I've ever seen. ❤️🤘

Man, the whole Uncle Aaron and other Miles scene was unbelievably intense! All the funny moments went away in the entire scene, except Baby May pointing to the window and pulling down her mask gave it so much flare. They did an awesome job with this. Can’t wait to see the next movie (but I have to watch this one fully first). 😊

Miles was in a dark predicament thinking he wasn't supposed to be Spider-Man but someone else that is why his counterpart became the prowler instead but not a threat and didn't seem to care letting miles go but kept him stranded and trapped forever now about to suffer the same fate as earth 65's Peter Parker although this what Gwen fears the most but can't be isolated again miles excluded his friends leaving them out and broke up with Gwen in sadness fearing to lose one more friend and broken hearted

What I find neat is looking at the subtle difference in artstyle between the two Miles': Prowler Miles has distinct cross-hatching and heavy, all black lineart and face lines, whereas Spiderman Miles has the ben day dots and brown face lines (can't concretely tell if all his lineart is brown, but I wanna say it is if you look closely at his chin)
Idk if this is a universe vs universe thing, but it's such a cool subtle detail

This is gonna be random, but I think I may have an idea for the Spider-People to stop the Spot in a future film:
What if there was a way to trap the Spot in a black hole or a wormhole of some type? The Spot can travel through diemnsions through his holes, but if he were to be trapped in a black hole, I dont think he may be able to escape. Just a thought.

We actually see the back of Earth 42 Mile's head in the beginning of the movie when Spot is explaining how he's the one who summoned the spider that bit Miles from earth 42. It shows a black and white scene with the spider in a classroom worth Earth 42 Miles writing at his desk.
How hard did he hit him to knock out spider man?
And what if he turned out to he a normal person? His head would have been shattered.
