Welcome to another episode of Cook With Me! Today, we are making Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. This is one of my favorite dishes ever, especially during the winter. The rich broth, the tender beef, and the chewy noodles…I’m drooling just thinking about it!
I’ve been traveling a lot these past few weeks and was craving home cooked food. I love going out to eat, but there is something special about a cozy home-cooked meal. So here is my family’s Taiwanese Beef Noodle recipe, a comforting, flavorful noodle classic. Enjoy!

Still one of our favorites! I make it in the instapot. When I get home from work the house smells great. My Kai dong arrived and I need to pick it up at post office. I think will be a perfect dish to make with my Kai dong handcut noodles! Love you!❤
this soup is on every page in our home we love it so much. The recipe I have is different from yours but as this is your family’s recipe I’m going to have to give it a go, I know it’s going to be fabulous.

Looks delicious, I think Beef noodle soup is ubiquitous to all Chinese households, what's fascinating is all the variations. My Cantonese Chinese grandma always added radish and carrots. The Peking restaurant of my childhood always had a super strong dark Beef soup base. I like how much tomato you used. Looks refreshing! The ingredients are all in my shop list for the weekend. Apple is an interesting twist. I love how every shop in Taiwan has a slight variation on this dish and it is nearly impossible to find a bad Taiwan beef noodle soup.

I’ve tried making this a few times and can’t quite get it right. Some recipes say to add carrots and apples to sweeten the soup broth - any thoughts? Also why not slice the shin meat and sear as well? After having stewed for a few hours. The meat still tastes gamey
