In real life now these days, lots of places do have the "WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE" signs posted everywhere now and when waiters / waitresses do mess up, they would make it up to the customers. I am glad the tables have turned for Jasmine, knowing the value of hard work.

extended ending concept:
as jasmine is happy by the good news, she then receives a phone call. and the moment when she answered the phone, she received a news that shocked her to the fact that she dropped her phone on the ground.
as it turns out, there was a reason why her father told jasmine that he lost his job... because as it turns out, it was a way to hide the fact that he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer 1 year ago and is not able to live for any longer. as jasmine rushes over to the hospital, she enters the room seeing her father in his bed.
"dad... please tell me this isn't real..." jasmine said.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it sooner. i didn't want you to worry. but i'm proud of what you achieved over the past year." jasmine's father said.
"what do you mean?" jasmine said.
"this is the reason why I didn't told you about it in the first place. its because i'm worried about what would happen to you... once i'm gone." jasmine's father said. "you see, when i was diagnosed with the cancer a year ago, i began to worry about a lot of things. but the one thing i'm worried the most... is you. i was afraid that when i'm gone you would become a slob and live with your old habits, and just thinking about that fact... hurt my heart a lot. and because I was so worried about many things... i wasn't able to focus at work... and the boss fired me as a result. so, you see, that was the main reason why I lost my job in the first place. and that was also the reason why i told you to get a job. not because you can use your own money to buy your own stuff, but rather making something for yourself even after i'm gone. and seeing what you did and how much effort you put over the past few months, it's safe to say that i have nothing to worry about anymore. i'm proud of you, jasmine."
as jasmine's father puts his hand on jasmine's face, jasmine starts to drop a tear. she then responds...

and it turns out, that was actually his last words before his death, as the video ends in a pretty tragic way. as both father and daughter embrace, the heart monitor went flat. and as jasmine's father passes away, jasmine cried in the arms of her father as he is no longer among the living.
