It sounds like Jake might be talking about Bradshaw with the taking liberties story and the clothesline incident. Bradshaw wrestled as Justin Hawk Bradshaw in 1996 in WWF
Can't see any incident where Bradshaw took off 6 months due to injury

You could see DDP’s face when Jake is talking about his issues with COPD and smoking and his health bad it upsets him, thinking/knowing that one day he is going to lose his best friend because of it

Great podcast as always. I dont know if you read the comments, but Jake- a little advice on smoking if I may: I live in the UK. Here, vaping is regulated , whereas it is not in the USA. The reason USA vaping is so bad is because of the ingredients and high nicotine content. UK vapes are regulated and are far more safe. I would highly recommend you order some vape from a UK based company and have it shipped to you. I think it would massively help you. Just a suggestion. Good luck and take care.
I was cringing pretty hard at the whole vaping thing. I'd like to meet this lung dr who recommended Jake pick cigs back up before trying vaping. Or the 19 yo who is on oxygen for the rest of his life from vaping for that matter. I kicked cigs about 5 years ago, my lungs are stronger than they've been since before I started 15 years of smoking. I feel much better, my taste and smell are back to where they should be and I've got my endurance back.
Ironically it's the big tobacco companies Jake hates so much that is front and center in the anti vaping narrative.
@@PiTBuLLeD That's great. I'm glad you manged to kick it and are feelign so much better. :) Vaping I'm sure is still not good but sooo much better than cigarettes. It's unfortunate vaping gets alot of bad press and puts smokers off trying it (like Jake.) As I mentioned, the bad press is from the vapes that are not regulated, so alot of harmful chemicals and high nicotine levels can be put in them. If you get them from a safe source that is regulated, they are quite safe and it's the best way to quit cigarettes. wishing you all the best :)
@@benzigabor Thanks for the well wishes stranger. Definitely agree with the reputable sources suggestion, I started vaping before it had blown up as big as it is now. I tried and failed to quit cigs when variable voltage box mods first came out. Definitely was a lot sketchier back then. Here soon I'll probably have to brew my own juice, my country is so beholden to big tobacco that they are trying to revert the industry back to cigalikes only like blu. I envy you guys across the pond that got this right. I'm sure it's not 100% risk free but based on how I feel now vs then I'm pretty sure it's much better than cigs.
Vaping is terrible for you. Just stop putting anything shit like that into your lungs.
