But if it goes to prince william at least he will be able to celebrate a silver jubilee. Then if your grandchildren or great grandchildren in comparable age to william children it very likely to witness a silver jubilee. Bring a hope always good

I am William's age, so yes, I suspect you are right. Charles may reach a Silver Jubilee, but that is highly unlikely really as I suspect he will be in his 80s or near 80 when he becomes king. Charles will likely reign for around the amount of time the Queen's father, George VI reigned. I suppose William may reach a Silver Jubilee, but likely be in his 90s, as he will likely be in his 60s (and myself as well haha) when he ascends the throne. This is realistically the last one many of us will ever see. It was beautiful. The next big event in the royal circle will come after the devastating news of the Queen's death and will be Charles' coronation. This was all very bittersweet. But Elizabeth II and her reign will form a huge focus in the history of the monarchy for centuries to come.

What a day, first the pomp and pageantry including the gold coach, then the peoples parade like a massive mardi gras, to watch Prince Charles and Princess Anne having a fun time together, the Duchess of Cornwall, Vice Admiral Timothy Lawrence, The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and the children, Zara, Mike and children and Peter Phillips and children all having a good time, despite the length of the parade after a late night last night. How wonderful, what a fabulous job father and eldest son did putting this together. What stole my heart was seeing the Queen with Paddington Bear oh that was fabulous, then Prince Louie sitting on his grandads lap. To be capped off by Her Majesty our wonderful Queen Elizabeth 11 again coming onto the balcony as a finale to wjat one can only be proud to say Im both British and Commonwealth citizen. THANK You.

What a wonderful display of solidarity from all ethicnal societies at the pageant . No racism there. Everyone enjoyed this pageantry together all under the blue skies of London. And seeing the Royal family all interacting and enjoying each others company. It was lovely seeing the children in the Royal box for the concert it was nice to be able to put a name to a face. These are our next generarion of Royals. It was wonderful that the Queen managed to make it on the balcony to finish the pageant with her future heirs. God Bless her.

And the change coming no matter what. Did we savour the moment? We did. Did we show love instead of hate? We did. Did we mobilise past, present and future? We did. Did we unite? We did. Did we get past Putin's threatened radioactive tsunami against all of us? We did. Was the Holy Spirit with us somewhere? Maybe yes!
Indeed it is very Emotional when she appeared on the balcony. She is loved by so many people around the world. Its a blessing for her to have 4 generations of family who are heirs to the throne standing next to her on the balcony. I believe it is no coincidence but God's incident that her Platinum Jubilee falls on Pentecost Day. I remembered she was very obedient to God and wanted the ceremony of "anointing the oil of the Holy Spirit" during her Coronation. It was very moving to watch as she had an enclosed private moment with God under the 'Tent' and dedicated herself to God to become Queen. I believe, because of her loyalty, faithfulness, and obedient to God, God blessed her as the longest reigning Queen ( Monarch ) in History. It is a great honour and privilege to witness and celebrate 4 days of amazing events and be part of her Platinum Jubilee today.

Approachable by standing on balconies, sitting in assigned seats for private affairs and in a private VIP box? They've been seen often in the last couple days but certainly not approachable.

The Queen, the Royal Family and celebrations like this Platinum Jubilee, the only one we are likely to see in our lifetimes, bring us hope and joy, renewal and rejuvenation, and a much needed break from the hardships of the last few years. What a wonderful display of solidarity from all ethicnal societies at the pageant . No racism there. Everyone enjoyed this pageantry together all under the blue skies of London. And seeing the Royal family all interacting and enjoying each others company. It was lovely seeing the children in the Royal box for the concert it was nice to be able to put a name to a face. These are our next generarion of Royals. It was wonderful that the Queen managed to make it on the balcony to finish the pageant with her future heirs. God Bless her.
I so agree with you about ethnicity, because frankly history dictates here with the British Empire and the countries we entered and ruled. Therefore it is natural for the Commonwealth countries to be incorporated into our country, and have a right to stay.

Just goes to show, all the money in the world and there children still behave like children. They did fantastic sitting there for that length of time. What beautiful children George, Charlotte and wee louis are. They have obviously been well brought up and so well adjusted. Enjoyed every moment of this and it is a fantastic tribute to the Queen.

I didnt see any Ghurkhas marching here. Very disappointed. They are so dedicated and fight very hard for this country through many generations. My late father in law was in Malaya during WW2, and always said what great men they were.

She is loved by so many people around the world. Its a blessing for her to have 4 generations of family who are heirs to the throne standing next to her on the balcony.
I believe it is no coincidence but God's incident that her Platinum Jubilee falls on Pentecost Day.
I remembered she was very obedient to God and wanted the ceremony of "anointing the oil of the Holy Spirit" during her Coronation. It was very moving to watch as she had an enclosed private moment with God under the 'Tent' and dedicated herself to God to become Queen.
I believe, because of her loyalty, faithfulness, and obedient to God,
God blessed her as the longest reigning Queen ( Monarch ) in History.
It is a great honour and privilege to witness and celebrate 4 days of amazing events and be part of her Platinum Jubilee today.
