Kudos to King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince William for performing their duties in the rain. Especially to the King, who stood saluting without even an umbrella to protect him. It did our hearts good for Princess Catherine to share with us a snippet of the progress of her journey. It did our hearts as good for the princess to make this effort to allow us to see her participate alongside Princess William, their children, and rest of the royal family present.

It was such a beautiful day. I got emotional seeing the king and the princess. It was so very good to see the Waleses. The children have grown so much. They are so well behaved well mannered. The military did an amazing job too. It was very moving to see the king, Prince William, Prince Edward and Princess Anne braving the rain alongside all the others involved in the celebration.
