Thanks for this: it’s worth the effort to set it up to fit. I have the opposite problem, looking to raise the seat and/or lower the pegs so I don’t have to fold up so tight. It’s good we have these options. Thanks again.
Indeed it is!
I have a 29" inseam and bought the lower comfort seat when I bought the bike. It helped, but still had to tip toe to stand straight up. I added the Altrider lowering kit & what a huge difference that made, I could finally flat foot the bike. The I had BMS make me a seat that's a bit wider & very comfortable, it's just a tad wider where my legs go to the ground so can't quite flat foot it, but only by maybe a quarter of an inch. There are a couple of pics on the FB Aprilia page of mine & another guys if you want to see one.
Very cool!!! Thank you for sharing, Mike! I've got the AltRider lowering kit. I just installed the adjustable sidestand...and will install the lowering kit soon. I'll check into your BMS seat. I've got a contact at Sargent Cycle Products who says they are coming out with a seat soon. So I'm eager to see what they do with their design! I appreciate the tips!!!
I am inseam challenged as well. I had to put lowering links on my T7, and added a Seat Concepts seat which lowered an inch. Big difference!. Still can't flatfoot it though...

Thanks for doing this video! Is the seat worth the cost or should I wait for Sargent or Seat Concepts to get one to market? I have read that the seat is wider so there isn't a lot of difference in footing between it and stock seat other than you butt doesn't kiss the seat pan as much. :)
Hi Steve! I think it's worth it if you need a shorter or taller seat, like I did. I believe they are going to have an AMAZING seat out for us Tuareg owners fairly soon!!!
