I won't donate to a charity, instead I show it to my neighbours. Any person who has a need, I will help them, insofar as I do not need what they require. EG; I have a toaster, but never eat toast. Bread is all you can eat. I will happily give you my toaster.
I don't believe charity means giving until you are equal. I believe it means freely giving what you have an excess of.

It was blatantly obvious to anyone who watched the trial that she was the abuser and tried to set him up
It was obvious to anyone who heard all the recordings a year before the trial or watched the Andy files. Then the endless amount of lawyers on youtube on JDs side. I actually believed her to begin with. Then covid lock down i listened to a recording. 5 mins in and i had to pause and cry. I was suddenly back in time as the victim and standing there with him, feeling all those old emotions of hurt confusion and frustration and hopeless. I think so many past victims like myself, had some more healing to do after the trial set us back. We had to see justice through.

The ACLU is running a LOT of fund-raising commercials right now, and I'd be willing to bet that many people have cited AH as the reason they no longer support the ACLU. It'll be years before I even consider donating to the ACLU simply because they still listed her as an ambassador long after she was shown to be the abuser, not the abused.

clearly someone advised AH on lawsuit protection prior to the op-ed. how long was it in planning? did she then specifically purchase a house to buy homeowners insurance for this purpose? if any entity advised AH on this, then it could indication they were aware there were problems with her story. that makes them participants, and liable as well as AH.

No they dropped her because having her as an ambassador was hurting their donations, they knew full well years ago they were never going to see their 3.5 million. She didn't make a single payment, Depp and Musk donated in her name but she never donated a damn thing. The ACLU are the ones that wrote the damn op ed in the first place and don't deserve a shred of sympathy, leaked emails also proved they knew it was all lies. The Los Angeles Children's hospital was the real victim but thankfully Depp donated a large portion of his art sales to them, it was actually one of his charities for a good decade before AH decided to try and use them to get clout and attention.
