    Another great tutorial. I have been sending links to many of your videos to my 11 year old nephew who is a beginning fly tyer and feel that they offer him an enormous head start compared to the years of trial and error that so many of endured pre youtube. Your videos are specific, precise, not too long and are the best quality closeup shots that I have found to send him. Thanks for all your time and efforts in providing them to the tying community.

    Thank you for the tips, I find myself having a hard time making even dubbing noodles, especially when I want them thin, this helps!

    I find twisting the thread clockwise and adding the dubbing in the same direction helps especially when using long strand synthetic fibers.

    Excellent tip Tim! Good that you point it out as this is important for the new tiers to know - it's the kinda thing that I have been doing for years (decades LOL!) and don't even think about it, hard to remember to explain it when demonstrating a fly pattern.

    Nice Tim!!! I’m learning dubbing now... not as easy as it looks! And I already learned don’t buy cheap dubbing!!
