    My Barkbusters saved me many turn signal breaks which ultimately paid for the Barkbusters.

      @@twistedthrottle question: did I understand correctly that the barkbusters are interchangeable with the storms? So if I have barkbusters on, switching to the storms would be straightforward? Thank you.

    You didn't mention the mounting system of the Storm. It looks different than the JET/VPS, which is the wrap around system I would like to purchase for my 2018 Africa Twin. Does the Storm come in that same wrap around configuration?

    I entered my bikes information and ordered on your listing, received the WRONG BB’s. 21-23 Honda 500Xs have TAPERED bars that are not consistently 7/8” FYI.

    Which is best for the Honda Grom? I might be swapping out the handlebar for a CRF50 or KLX110 handlebar from protaper though

    • @twistedthrottle
      @twistedthrottle  Před 5 lety

      If the bars you swap to are a similar size/bend then it is likely it will still work. Check out some of the options here: www.twistedthrottle.com/shop-by-bike/honda/grom-msx125-2017/handguards

    While these hand guards seem like they are great, if you have been riding over 50 years like I have you are better off having loose hand controls that will move when you fall. You have a more than not chance of a broken wrist if you get in the bind of the guard. If you have ever gone over the handle bars you know these guards will snap your wrist like a twig.

    Is there any available for Zero Motorcycles? Acerbis, Polisport, Barkbusters? Thank you.
    (Not the ugly Cycra sold by Zero which gets rusty as hell since they supply non-stainless)

    Is it true if u fall off you can break your hand or fingers in these bark busters?

    • @sirjolly81
      @sirjolly81 Před 4 lety +4

      so is that any different to falling off and getting an arm or leg broken from hitting the ground? In a few cases people have snapped wrists and forearms from front on crashes. It happens. But the off chance you get that unlucky its very rare. BUT look at the best part of wrap arounds. They stop levers breaking from small/big falls, you can smash into trees and not break your hand or fingers, also help prevent bars bending and protect all the other components on the handlebars. I've ridden enduro with these for 10 years. Not a single complaint. Same as all the other people that I ride with.

      I almost lost my ring finger, right hand from a guy clipping my throttle side with his handle bar. I honestly wish I had bark busters back then. With respect to hand and finger safety I would 100% have them installed.
