I got one for free / but paid $50 for new spare parts, the filtering caps needed to be replaced / if anything I would replace the original / on my amp one was off by 500 uF (so 9,500 instead of 10,000) and the other one was completely dead / Sound beautiful once replaced... still have some other parts and not sure which capacitors I will replace...
@@mguess ya no worries, is that most people always left these ON like for years and these don’t last forever, I would def replace the power transformer filtering caps ;) it’s up to you
I didn't measure it myself but here is what the specifications say. Specifications Power output: 115 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) Frequency response: 6Hz to 60kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.02% Damping factor: 60 Input sensitivity: 1.55V Signal to noise ratio: 100dB Semiconductors: 26 x transistors, 8 x MOSfet, 29 x diodes, 4 x zener diodes, 1 x diode bridge Dimensions: 5-1/8 x 16 x 10-1/2 inches Weight: 26lbs Year: 1984
I have one of these ... great amp!
Agreed!

Thanks for the comments. My amp seems to be working great so far. One of these days I'll open it up and check some of the components.

Would be interesting to see undistorted levels on a sweep of 100Hz - 20kHz ?

Worth $200 in good shape ? Got at least two here for sale locally .
Good deal. That's a great sounding little amp. If I can find one for that price I'll probably pick it up for spare parts.
