I took an English course again in 1993. I was nineteen years old at that time. One day, my teacher of English said that she had just visited Europe. It happened before she died of cancer. She said that The Netherlands at that time looked a little bit dirty because there were a lot of foreign people living there, that Belgium was cleaner than The Netherlands was and that Luxembourg was the smallest, cleanest and the most beautiful of the three.

@Antoine B de M Not at all, Portuguese government and LX' one made a deal like 40 years ago to contract portuguese people to work there. Most of LX and its capital infrastructure were build by these Portuguese, who most of them stayed there afterwards. Nevertheless, lots of portuguese people continued to immigrate as you said in the 90's - 2000's in Lx but also in France, Belgium and Switzerland

I’m French and I love my country and also I love travelling and I would like to visit Luxembourg ! So yes French can be disrespectful, arrogant, selfish maybe xenophobic but we are not all like that ! But the French love complaining about themselves, their country, they are also very pessimistic and often have a bad mood. But think that every time spect that I am describing show that French truly love their country, their culture and their language and are very patriotic. They want the greatness of their country ! Think also that if France is the first tourist destination worldwide and is well known around the world it’s because foreign peoples love France in majority. So I’m very proud to be French and to have a French passport
J'aime beaucoup la France. Les paysages sont spectaculaires et j'ai eu majoritairement des bonnes experiènces avec les gens. C'est une grande avantage si tu parles la langue. Ça te donnes les chances de connaitre le país beaucoup mieux. S'il y a une chose que je n'aime pas de la France, c'est le centralisme du pays, mais je sais qu'il y a beaucoup de français qui veulent aussi une meilleure reconnaissance de la culture propre des régions.

It's a very international country so I think if you are a foreigner they will assume that it's better for you to talk in English unstead of French or German I guess
You can literally choose to speak between 4 to 5 languages here and get what you'd like
not really, I live in Luxembourg and French is probably the most spoken language here (so much that it annoys native Luxembourgers, who prefer Luxembourgish). English is widely used in businesses and a lot of foreigners only speak English in addition to their own languages.
