Binge watching your few videos...its nice to hear you talk love from the united states! I got into spirituality when I was 18 in 2017... I discovered Allan Watts and his lectures and they really resonated with me. It kind of felt like for the first time someone was speaking about what i would think and secretly feel. I then had some depressive and tough times go on in my life. And i remember discovering Dakota of earth too around that time so that is cool you mentioned him! It really got serious when I was doing some stuff really chasing my dreams...this was around 2020 and I had a very powerful spiritual experience. Now I have things like my 3rd eye and I am also in tune with the paranormal. So yeah! I think as we grow and learn and the more we happen to discover the things about ourselves. The less noise comes in from the outside and we can start to see what path we are walking down. You are no longer blindly shuffling with your arm out asking what is next? But really learning to become still and reactive to the flowing rhythm of everything.
Your intuition to opt for stillness rather than chasing experiences is VALID. Experiences, no matter how extraordinary, psychedelic, or mystical, can be signposts on the journey but can never be IT, ie. the ultimate Truth. Experiences COME AND GO. But what is that which NEVER comes and goes? Which is always already present? (The Seeker is like one searching for her/his spectacles, unaware they're right on their nose.) You pursue knowledge (vidyā) over mundane ephemera. Keep going-the REWARD at the end surpasses all imagination

Dear friend, your purity, innocence, enthusiasm, desire to seek the deeper things and to find and experience the unseen realities is beautiful. But be careful of demons, masquerading as angels of light, who trick you by befriending you and eventually entrap and enslave and possess and control you. And their secret agenda is to steer you away from the one true God. There is one true invisible God and thus all other spiritualities are fake and many are demonic.
You know what's funny? I honestly could not remember who Ram Dass was until you brought out the book. Denying human desires like food, water, and medical help. Is that the true way to let go? I don’t want to reincarnate again. Or do I? My desires tell me otherwise
