I started talking to spirit when I was a child, but my family thought I was possessed and burnt my doll which was helping me talk to spirit. Now I am getting back to it… hearing spirit is so natural to me and I am so blessed with this gift.

When I finally surrendered to the voice of the Spirits, I finally had peace. All that was required of me is to just BE.
That is so me… And people called me crazy, i was raised a Catholic, but I studied at a Pentecost bible school, studied Witchcraft, Paganism, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam even converted to Islam, studied Balinese Hinduism, all because I wanted to understand why every religion has its own way of doing things and worshipping God. People and even friends thought i was lost. But if I didn’t study and practise each religion that I had experienced, I wouldn’t be where I am now in my late forties - at peace with our multitude of differences.
I was raised Catholic too and what Ive found along the journey of exploring other religions and teachings is that The Source, Prime Creatrix is the same for ALL! All religions are pieces, fragments of the ONE truth. I feel soon there will come a time when all religions will become ONE spirituality for those people who 'know' they are part of this greater Being 🙏

I can relate to your journey, Shaman Durek. I was born catholic, I experienced heaven as a 10 year old, I became Pentecostal Christian, studied with Jehovah's witnesses, was baptised again as a Mormon, became a Muslim and wore hijab for a year, studied Buddhism and am now a tarot reading non-religious spiritualist. It's a seekers journey. Yet, even after all that, two days ago I had the epiphany that even though I am adamant that I do not care what others think, I realised that I keep automatically measuring every one of my actions against the programming of what I believe others would think of my actions. Thank you for Sharing this, I'm immensely grateful that I feel affirmed that my journey of seeking wasn't exactly confusion.
It was a path that allows me to be able to be a healer to humanity without reservations due to the religion one believes in.
I, too, was raised to be a devout Catholic. But now that I'm learning all of this new stuff, I have confusion and conflicts in my spirit regarding what is the truth and what is simply bologna. I want to Bethlehem both what I was taught growing up and what Shaman Durek is teaching us now. My question is, as a Catholic, didn't you feel somehow, for lack of a better word, wrong about leaving your faith behind(I am NOT judging at all. I'm just trying to figure out how to make sense of this all). Ive always believed that the Eucharist IS the actual body and blood of Christ as it is turned into that by the Holy Spirit during the Mass at the point that the priest does the transubstantiaton( I hope I'm spelling that correctly! ) See I'm a single mom of 2 teenage boys. I, down to my core, believe that I was brought to this planet to be their mother and ditch their souls towards the correct spirituality and subsequently their knowledge and relationship with God. I've had them going to ccd and getting their sacraments, just as everyone else on my dads side had proudly done. My 13 yr old has balked at what I've been trying to teach him concerning our catholic religion. He asks since legit questions that I don't quite know how to answer. I don't want to steer him, his 16 yr old brother, not myself, in the wrong directing, Do you have any words of wisdom that you've learned from all of your religious experiences that could help me understand all of this more? I sincerely respect you for the path you've taken and would be honored if you could help me straighten this out in my spirit and soul, please! Thank you so much for your advice!!!

@o0Blu3b1rd0o I understand completely where you are at. I struggled with "Catholic Guilt" for years. But I couldn't ignore that most the people helping others were not Catholics or even any other form of Christian. When I started to accept that there is no "wrong" or "right", that everyone's truth is unique to them, that everyone has the "Holy Spirit" within not just pentecostal Christians, that Communion is eating a meal with our community which is an act of belonging, acceptance and trust, not some magical act in a church, and that when Jesus told us God laws are written on our hearts, that we can go within for all the guidance we need, I started to feel so free. Church taught me fear and judgement. It took a long time to stop allowing myself to be controlled by that.
He appears so settled, calm, wonderfully healthy. Beams out of his presence. Must be his aura. SO together. Not enough words to describe his totality. He is fully unified. Centered in presence. Awesome life force... ❤😂😊 Holy Moly What a teacher!!!

I was born and raised a muslim, yet a had a nack for researching other religions, I've even called myself a christian, a jew, a buddist, and finally a believer of the most high. What I found was that none is wrong, I am simply learning and relating to my fellow humans in the ways they believe. And I love them all anyways. That gave me peace. I am truly glad to have found this video for it validates my thoughts that I have often doubted why I was different because my family and friends couldn't accept who I was becoming. I did it anyway.

I also grew up going to church (until I was 14), it never felt right to me. I felt like there was 'more' out there. Living my life FOR someone never felt right.

Some would say I'm 'spiritual', I don't feel like I fit into a category because I am 'open', open to knowledge/wisdom and what 'feels right' for me. As a child I was gifted with open visions and just knew some things about people I couldn't explain. But m family thought something was wrong with me. But I found out there was nothing wrong with me. They just didn't know children could be gifted like that. I shuned my gift because of it. But I left the traditional church to Embrace my gift again.

It is incredible. I watched a video about identifying yourself as a healer and the attributes that come with it, which lead me to this video, and everything the shaman is saying resonates EXACTLY with my belief in how the world operates. I have tried to articulate these ideas to different people over the last few years and here he is explaining it plain as day as true fact. The validation I've just gained in my spiritual beliefs and journey makes me beyond confident that I'm coming out of what I thought was a hole and turns out to be my recovery time from how much of me I left out in the world. What I just heard is amazing. It has changed my life. The things that he talked about as a child now makes me understand myself. As a child I saw visions and heard voices telling me things that always protected me. Now, I understand that this was a gift and I should not have been afraid of it. An example was being told to put on my seatbelt because I was going to get into a car accident right after I turned onto this road and it came true. This voice must have been a spirit that always helping me. It got stronger and stronger showing me things not even related to me. Things about others. I knew when people were going to die before they passed. One time when this happened it was 8pm. That was the exact time that the person passed away. Also, knowing when somebody was going to be sick by receiving visions. I started to become scared of this gift and quite frankly thinking that I might be crazy. I prayed to please make it all go away and it actually happened. This information has open my eyes to seeing things in a different way. Thanks!!!!!

It seems that every medium has the same thing happening to them when they are young. Some back away because they are afraid of this blessing. But he seems to have handled it as a gift which it is. The churches are now have gone rogue now especially in America. They are not preaching the word of god. They are now preaching politics which is causing fear and separation of the people. I’ve never found a church yet that has never tried to put the fear of god into me. That I might go to hell. I’ve recently found my spirituality and we are all part of god and I don’t believe he would never hurt me because I’m and everyone of us is part of god. I loved this interview and I’m still learning how to be more spiritual. Thanks.

What was your greatest takeaway from this episode?
I went away from my Catholic roots and just came back about seven years ago. I feel like I didn’t really understand my faith until I left, discovered other faiths, and then married an atheist husband, and tried to live life the way he wanted me to as well. Now I am back, and I understand more deeply, my faith, and I wish everyone could. To me what this shaman is saying are the deeper understandings of the simple prayer Our Father. Our father hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.🙏 give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. If we only understood what it said, instead of reciting it in memory, without any emotion or deep understanding, then we would understand those words basically mean everything the shaman is talking about. God bless us all.🙏✨🌟

Thank you Dany and Shaman Durek for a very enlighten moment. At a very young age I knew that I was different and special as I was able to communicate and see things other people was unawares of. By the time I was 13 I was able to connect with the spirits world. When asking my mother questions she used to say: "you are a very special one" and that's that she did not say more. I grew up as a catholic, went to catholic school but never felt any connection. All my life I wanted to be like an ordinary woman, buy what is ordinary? I decided 18 years ago to embrace my gifts. While leaving in Bali I can tell you my life have changed tremendously, but I still have to discover some more. I would like to connect with you both if possible. Thank you❤

I have no words other than the fact that this BLESSED my SOUL!!
I was raised Church of England, and found myself pulled away from it as time went on, I tried many paths, wicca, paganism, norse paganism, green witchcraft, druidism and more but none have ever fit fully.
I have looked at so many different paths I found myself confused and alone.
Recently my neighbour paid for me to have a reiki healing and for the first time since I was a preteen I "saw" one of my guides. Since then I have been working with the lady who did the reiki for spiritual development and through that we have brought more guides closer, I found "channeling art" and started painting while meditating (with my non dominant hand). I still struggle with visualising and hearing spirit but I am beginning to get messages.
When my teacher returns from her holiday we are beginning one to one sessions on a shamanic path because this is where both she, myself and spirit are telling us this is my path. Healing, energy, journeying, ceremony, story telling, art, communication. But first I need to heal myself with her help and allow myself to open up to spirit fully.
