I've worked on wind turbines, they hum and 'whoosh' but you can't hear it 30 metres away!
Low frequencies that we can't hear can still negatively affect health. Also, I've read that the noise they make is way worse at night, which isn't really something you'd notice unless you lived near them, because workers or people exploring near them tend not to do so at night.

And if you're afraid wind turbines can cause cancer, I hope you don't sleep next to your cellphones, talk on it often or even stay close to your TV, cause all of these things create infinitely more bad waves for your health than a freaking wind turbine lol

I was near wind turbines a lot, every car passing you at 20mph is louder. Also I saw no dead birds at all. Living ones a lot. Once on a night ride, I thought I had a puncture in my tire, but then realized that I was directly beside a huge wind turbine.

I don't think he is actually lying. His demented brain is just mixing his father and grandfather. It looks like he is trying to remember the place of birth (of his grandfather) but can't. so just calls it a wonderful place.
Explain then why for decades he said his grandfather was born in Sweden and not Germany (which is where he was actually born).
In his own autobiography art of the deal, it's there in black and white claiming swedish heritage and not German.
Was he mixing it then too? Did he accidentally claim it in writing and then for years and years after?
