I'm so glad you mentioned the cuts in B-Art's round. I felt like I was going crazy for a few days after it came out because I no one was talking about it. It doesn't take away from it too much because obviously it sounds really good, but the reason the end of Dropical's round is illegal is because you have to be able to solo beatbox your routine, but B-Art's would sound completely different if he tried to do those combos live without perfect clipping. I think B-Art still would've taken the battle, I just think they both deserved to lose a point there.

But in this tournament it was allowed to edit as much in your video and audio as you wanted, so what b-art was doing, was completely within the rules... ( If I remembered it correctly from sxin and chezame their explanation 2 years ago)
@@patrickhinten That would run counter to the other stipulation that whatever you produced also had to be able to be performed live as a solo routine. So the ability to mix/master and edit was supposed to be reserved for aesthetics and sound design to make it sound as good as possible and have a crisp music video. What B-Art did was taking advantage of the editing imo, but it's been so long since the competition who's to say these days. 😂

9:37 10:03 is almost impossible, not the sounds but the speed, sounds like a few different parts have been stitched together really close. I want to see B-Art do the same live, there is no way he can do the entire thing in one go.... Apart from that, the trumpet is autotuned. I agree with Colaps, it sounds great but it's a bit too much.

@@berni5641 nah it’s not wrong. B-art sampled some sounds in this round. I’m sure this is currently nowhere near doable on stage for b-art. Maybe one day
The trumpet is not autotuned. It never was. I noticed this when I first heard but it's a lot of compression and eq on the specific part to change it. He wouldn't need autotune for the trumpet because there is no main melody, other than the trumpet.

@@joeass2399 but it still is autotuned, it has that quality where you put the autotune on max it makes it sound a bit weird. I know because I’m a producer, I’ve learned you can’t have the autotune on max bc it creates a cheap sounding quality
