In a deleted video, they (sxin and chezame) say and encourage beatboxers to slice up their sounds as long as its still doable naturally. When reacting to remix’s knockout, theres a part where hes doing a duck sound and an inward bass, and they said that the inward bass wasnt as clear and that he shouldve recorded them seperately and layered them since he can still do it, but it would sound better
For dropical, in another deleted video, they judged dropical’s round not including the tag team part

I am not hating or anything but if b-art was allowed to isolate every single sound and reposition all of them to perfect precision using software, all dropical did was record two seperate sets and placed them at a certain interval. A little hypocritical to allow one and not the other. Its basically software aided in both cases.
I think both were marked negatively for this. In Hiss vs B-art, Hiss does point this out very accurately.
But Dropicals editing was more negatively marked than B-Art's. B-Art just removed his mistakes and corrected his timings, Dropical was double layering, which was not supposed to be done as it was supposed to be more like a normal beatbox battle but in a better form. Not like Den's searching for you cover which was created to be perfect
@@abhisheknair8437 Its not like there wasn't any layering in b-arts rounds as well tho. I understand that This was a new format and some one was gonna get the short end of the stick but at least the judging has to be even handed.
@@pruthvirajshinde9991There's never 2 sounds at once in B-art's routine so no by definition there's no layering. There's only one layer but as others said it has been noticeably edited.
But either way Dropical wasn't marked down for that section. They explained that they simply judged him based on everything before that.
@@enmanuel1950 the layering rule was in accordance to the set sounding like it was one guy doing all the sounds. You can't possibly tell me some of the sounds b-art grouped together were physically possible...he bent the rules granted he was still as close to DQ as he could be but what was obvious for dropicals round was 100% under the surface in b-arts rounds..I feel like hiss really put the pressure on em to address it and hence he got the decision on his side. Otherwise b-art was going to the finals.
@@pruthvirajshinde9991 1) The judging was never even handed. Every body knows their fuck up with Heliums rounds.
2) It was not layering, it was editing the sounds to fit the timing. It's also not very acceptable but it isn't as obvious as the layering. Like you later mention, B-art did it covertly, Dropical did it overtly, exactly.
3) No negative marking, or disqualification, only a removal of those parts from judging, which like you said were too obvious.
B-art was making the sounds individually and editing them together, that's why it sounds so crazy , it's literally impossible for him to do these sets live , still awesome but if you look at dropicals rounds he's really doing the set and is able to do those beats in a live performance, so personally i think dropicals round would have won if they were on a stage doing these
B-art went full cheat code on this one 😂

Simple break down of the rules from a now unlisted video of Sxin & Chezame discussing what to do with Dropical's video, was that in B-art's initial video he done a visual of two of himself, but it was one straight recording (In sequence no layering of his sounds) Although he cut parts together.
So in the voting video or their initial reaction to dropical's entry for the battle, they discussed the idea of disqualifying his entry, but instead when it came down to the judging they just simply left out that last segment of his video, although mentioning they can't unhear it, they chose to be objective of the first two segments of dropical's piece and done their judging solely on the parts that didn't break the rules.
As for the cash prize for BBU was if I recall 10,000 euros, to first place, and a winners prize per round of 200 euros, so the closer you got to the finals, you earned 200 per battle won.
Gbb's prize was winner takes all for 2023, and you saw how much already when watching Napom's livestream you reacted to in 'Pay your artists'

He mentions how River and whoever else was in top 4 discussed a split, So I believe 1st was 10k, 2nd (Napom) 5k, 3rd & 4th respectively 3k & 2k.

Dropical went super saiyan....but B-art his round is one of my all time favourites ever. And his round has been stuck in my head for months now, every time i'm in the shower or around the house I randomly just start singing and beatboxing his routine. Crazy how catchy his song it, once you hear it then it will be stuck in your head forever!

Dropical is very young. He’s got super potential he just needs to shorten his rounds and get structure as Bart says. If he does that. Gets that dog in him. Dropical will be dangerous.
B-art says to get structure… the same guy that notoriously messes up his timing and structure in pretty much every live performance.

They said it had to be beatboxable by 1 person so they took off that ending and judged based off everything but the double penatration part
In a deleted video, Sxin and Chezame said that they were okay with people isolating clips for the soul purpose of making it sound better. But when they reacted to Dropical’s video, they said that he cheated and that they weren’t allowing it. They had to specifically DM the other competitors after Dropical’s video and tell them.
Idk what the others said but the trumpet thingie that B-art did is not produced and I can actually do it too so that kinda proves it further. And yes he is able to time the crack although it isnt a voice fry but more of a inward bass and inward drag combo

B ART VS HISS BRO
Yes, the main reason Dropical lost was because of the two Dropicals. It was a response to when B-Art did it against Remix, although B-Art had both of his doubles in the video at the same time, but he alternated which one did the beatboxing, so that still counted. Dropical did the same thing except instead of alternating he layered the two on top of each other. Technically that would’ve disqualified him as the rules are it has to be beatboxable by one person, but since it was the first BBU and they had not made that clear they just decided to not count that part from Dropical and just judge the rest of his round. Ultimately because of that and how very close to even him and Dropical were with the judging on their rounds minus Dropical’s part they didn’t count B-Art won this round. They did say they like when the beatboxers bend the rules a bit, but in the future the layering beatboxing thing will automatically disqualify you. Although I suspect because of Chezame and Sxin ending their friendship there won’t be any more BBU’s like they were originally hinting at.
It's not against the rules bc if it was then B-Art would not have made it to this round

But that 667 is not used as a direct insult, it's basically just a funny meme. Dude named one of his strongest routines 667 is hilarious.
Also 667 routine was already used by DROPICAL before, and 666 was made specially for this case, afaik
