- Recorded live during a concert. You would find an abrupt transition in between; please pardon me for that. I was too immersed and lost in the recital's most beautiful part and inadvertently pressed the switch off button. The loss is huge as the tempo had picked up by the time I realised I had done something wrong and turned on the recording again. Hope I get the fuller version soon.

Iss raag ko din me sune with headphones on then you will get to know the real heaven yet it's almost like it as played by sir but it will sound more beautiful as it's gayan samay is at noon time

If I'm not wrong this was at the India Habitat Centre-New Delhi on 16 December 2018. I attended that concert and recorded a few video clips on my mobile phone.
I also love the Jaunpuri rendition by Pt. Venkatesh Kumar on your channel. I had attended that concert too, but couldn't record audio, again some mobile clips.

Yes, it is from the IHC Morning Raga series. Pt. Venkatesh Kumar is a great vocalist, with an immensely powerful voice. Do use your recorder when possible.

Subhanallah! It is unfortunate that Ustad SP had to stop several times in the second half for the tabla to be turned up properly. This hampered his taankari in the drut phase, still a dazzling display of complete mastery as usual.
Agree very much - the interruptions do distract both the player and the listeners.

Yes, this is one rare occasion where I have missed naming the accompanying artist. This has been in mind bothering me a lot even before your comment. The concert happened in December 2018 and I reached long after the initial introduction happened. This post was done much later and I forgot the name of the tabla player. I went on to social media pages of SPIC MACAY, Habitat Centre, Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan and a lot of tabla players to find out the artist's name. He is Shri Sovon Hazra, a name I was unfamiliar with and probably will never forget now.

According to cover photos, i think tabla player name is Aninda Chatterjee.

Yes, but I went there to a live concert to enjoy it with all my senses. I used an app in my phone placed in my shirt pocket to record the performance. Recording and uploading it here weren't the priority.

I am sorry, for I don't have the expertise to remove the sounds of birds in this audio. It was an open air concert and the sound of the birds was unavoidable. Maybe you should refect upon why you think that the birds are crying?
Birds sounds added natural quality to this divine music.
