Nia and Sanaa seem like they don't like each other.
I hate when people try to make something out of nothing! Nia and Sanaa are friends, so because Sanaa's face wasn't beaming with excitement every time she looked in Nia's direction she doesn't like her? She looked exactly the same to Taye, but because her and Nia are two females people are trying to create drama. Get a life!
She said at the very beginning "ow, my foot". She's clearly in pain, thus the uncomfort in her face, but folks just love drama so they create their own narrative

This movie was so good it surpassed race its an overall great movie for the whole family no matter what color you are its an all American great movie
Taye is fine and both ladies are beautiful. I cant wait to see this movie.

OMG, when the first movie came out I was 17 and now I'll be 31 in a few weeks. This movie is a testament to how quickly time passes, a little too much truth for me right now lol. They look amazing and I must say, Eddie Cibrian as Jordan's bf is the PERFECT choice, a lot of us sistas find him INCREDIBLY gorgeous :)

I don't know if it's to prove you're not racist or to show you are cool with white people because you find a white dude attractive, but I don't see how the white dude is the perfect choice. Also, I wonder if you would have those same sentiments if a string of movies started coming out where the lead Black male was paired with a white woman. I think your "perfect choice" sentiments would be reversed.
lifestraight My fiance is Japanese. I'm Jamaican-Canadian...sooo if anything I'm more like the UN, I'm not "pro" or "anti" anything. The fact that her boyfriend is white was not my main point. Stop reading into things to see what you want to see. I'm saying that if she were to have a white boyfriend, which she does, the fact that it's Eddie Cibrian is the perfect choice. If she were to have a black boyfriend, Idris Elba would be my perfect choice, and so on. The only worship I do is to God. So get it together, really, stop looking for internet beefs. So 2002.

So you yourself racialized it by saying sistas (synonymous with Black women) find him gorgeous which definitely implies that him being white is a benefactor or some type of plus. Otherwise you would have just said he was the perfect choice and you find him attractive. For some reason or other you felt it was important to let it be known that you r a black woman. If I were to comment on Christina Hendricks I wouldn't have to include my race in saying she's attractive. There's no point. All I'd have to say is "Good choice. She's a fine woman."
lifestraight I can see this discussion isn't going to get resolved, so this is my last point. You cannot presume to know what was going on in my mind when I wrote what I wrote. My interpretation and yours are obviously going to be different. I chose to say I'm Jamaican-Canadian because I'm proud of my dual heritage and culture. It's a known fact many black women find Eddie Cibrian attractive, and that's just it - EDDIE CIBRIAN, I didn't say anything about him being white, which therein would make him the perfect choice. Being that I was brought up in Toronto, Canada, race is not on the forefront of my mind, because Toronto is the most multicultural city in the world. It's actually number one, look it up. That being said, "race" is not something that gets glorified, culture does. I don't have time for race arguments because I've never really had them nor had to have them. I don't care. You shouldn't either. We should be here celebrating the movie, not arguing about some guys race. It's pretty silly. Let's agree to disagree and figure out how to solve more pertinent issues like famine, homelessness, poverty and the like.

SANAA LATHAN loves her WHITE MEN, that explains why we’ve never heard/seen her with any real relationship or marriage. Half her acting career has been spent with white men love interests! I’m sure she could never bring that kind of drama into a black relationship!!! Trying to explain to a black man that she doesn’t REALLY love white men may be hard for her. Why doesn’t she just marry a white guy ??
