    Dilshad Khan & Sabir Khan
Cousins Dilshad Khan and Sabir Khan are the ninth generation to take up the Sarangi. Today they are known for their excellent command on this difficult instrument and are worthy torch bearers of Ustad Sultan Khan's legacy.

He began his training at the age of 6 in music from his grandfather Ustad Gulab Khan Sahab who was a great sarangi player and vocalist of his time and from his father Ustad Nasir Khan Sahab who was also a great sitar player. Later he started learning sarangi from his legendary uncle Padma Bhushan Ustad Sultan Khan.
    Sabir Khan
Born in Jodhpur Rajasthan to renowned sarangi player and vocalist Padma Bhushan Ustad Sultan Khan, Sabir received training under his father and his uncle Ustad Nasir Khan. His great-grandfather Ustad Azim Khan Sahab was a court musician at Sikar Rajasthan.

Such superior Sarangi has not been heard for a long time, enhanced of course by superior audio-video recording in a studio. Such a welcome change from the indifferent fuzzy shaky noisy recording of otherwise extremely talented upcoming artists who should take note of this amazing jugalbandi and superior performance. Wah!!!

I always admire this Sarangi duo and Akram Khan Sahab. Akram Khan means crisp and sweet strokes.
