Hey Wah! About the poop situation! My boyfriend told me that apparently its because the food isn't digested well in their bodies so when they poop, their poop would smell like the food and they would just try to eat it. Same goes for pee!
Read this before I saw the part in the vlog and thought you meant wah's poop situation and thought whattt??? People eat their poop? Why isn't anyone making a comment, why are there so many likes?? Then I realized lol 😂
I'm just watching random episodes because it's so calming. And I just have to take the time to pause and write the comment that I really appreciate you just mentioning that small note of walking dogs. How "it might be a chore" but since "the dogs look forward to it so much everyday" that it "should be motivation in itself." I really appreciate this mindset, and I hope more pet owners can/will/try to think this way. I can truly see how much you guys care for your pets. It's heartwarming.
Since you guys are trying to get Michi and money to get along again..why don't you start by walking them together first? Walking them together will let them bond more. I started walking my 2 dogs together more often now they don't fight anymore. I hope that helps!

Hi Wah, I had the same problem with my puppy and it took me YEARS for her to understand that she shouldn't be playing/eating with her poop. The only thing I could really do is positive reactions when she didn't do it and just watching her poop. When she knew I was watching she wouldn't go anywhere near her poop. I would always reward her with a treat if she did well and she probably thought that was better than playing with her poop as I would always wash her and brush her teeth afterwords. But this would only happen when she pooped inside the house. When we were outside, she had no interest in her poop. I guess you just have to give them time to develop that understanding and just keep a watchful eye on them and they'll eventually catch on. I hope my experience helps!

I always appreciate how real you guys keep it. Like now I know I'm not the only one that deals with those little white bumps by my chin haha. You see all the tutorials and lights and stuff I feel hide imperfections where we're like they have perfect skin so of course this looks good on them. That's just an example like overall I appreciate people that keep it real especially on CZcams where you'll run into people that don't agree with you or your personality.

She probably eats it because being in a kennel prior to you all taking her in, it might not have gotten cleaned and instead of laying in a dirty kennel she would "clean" it up by eating it. That's what my grandpa's puppy use to do because she was mistreated and the old owners never took her out of her space. Similar to dogs in shelters who poo into the adjacent kennel - they're keeping their own space clean.
Omg Weylie! I struggle with that weird bumpy area in the chin area too! For the longest time I thought I was the only one haha. Also loving how your vlogs get better and better, the little details in the editing are so lovely.

Hi guys! The pups are so cute! I have 2 frenchies. My youngest girl used to each her poop a lot when she was younger whenever she was separated from her sister or was in a big room alone. We found that anxiety always made her nibble on things(carpet, her paws, her poop, her pillows and more) to stop this we tried a clicker system when every time she pooped we'd click (they sell training clickers at petsmart? They're pretty loud for the pups to hear) and everytime she walked away I'd praise her and pet her head so she knows walking away from poop was the safe way, and if she'd walk towards it I'd cover it but not step on it with my foot and say that's a no no, and praise her Again if she walks away. After 2-3 times she knows it's wrong, and we keep the sisters together in a smaller space until they get comfortable with the space and increase gradually! Hope this helps!

Hi guys! I have the same problem with my two frenchies. And the doctor here told me the same reason as your research. So what I did is I put the food in the water to soften it and feed them a lot. After a week they actually eat less of their poop and on a good day they actually don't eat it at all.
Weylie! Can you review/show us your car? I'm in love with MINIs and i'm think about buying one the same year as yours but I wanted to know how you like yours and what are some of the drawbacks. Thanks!

Hi weylie and wah ! I LOVE your vlogs they give me life haha. I remember reading that a mixture of water and vinegar can help dogs from continuing the habit of eating their poop. If u mix the vinegar and water and spray it on the poop, the dogs don't like the sour smell. And if they do end up eating the poop, the vinegar taste isn't something they like. I definitely think some more research should be put into it bc I think another reason it stops them from eating their poop again is bc the vinegar could give the dogs an upset stomach :/
is it weird that I'm about to get a dog for the first time and one of the ways I'm doing research about dog care is by watching wah and weylie's vlogs?? haha y'all are really great dog owners IMO!

Two reasons I can think of as to why she would be eating her poop is 1. Because she is a nervous dog, she is trying to cover her smell to hide from predators 2. She isn't fully absorbing all of the nutrients in her food/she isn't getting the nutrients she needs from her dog food.. so it smells important to eat! I love how you are throwing out dog education in your videos. SO many people don't take care of their pets, and I'm glad you take their emotions into play when caring for them. Not babying her when you pick her up is what she needs! Also keep in mind when you pick a dog up they get insecure, this is why a lot of small dogs are aggressive to people coming by them! My best advice would be to find a balanced dog trainer who trains in some kind of bahavrial rehabilitation (NOT Obedience). There are lots of good ones in the LA area, this would help Mitchi and Money get better aquatinted properly as well!! :)

I always watch and rarely comment, but this time I had to...because YES WEYLIE, I absolutely HATE those whitehead-like bumps on my chin!! I thought I was the only one with that issue. I also get them in between my brows and it drives me insane!! My boyfriend and I watch your vlogs together and we love you guys so much!
I'm sorry Weylie, it's not your fault but cleansers with those mini beads are bad for the environment ): some microbeads are plastic, therefore does not dissolve and get ingested by fish and other animals. Maybe try organic exfoliants like sugar etc. Just sharing my thoughts! Love you
v.apour The website for the brand says they do not use micro-beads in their products. Also sugar is too abrasive for the face.
Serena glad that they don't then! Sugars are actually good exfoliants but have to be weary on which one to use. Brown sugar is softer than granulated so it can be generally used on the face and sensitive skin. Raw sugar is more coarse so it would be better for the body.

Wah! So about the poop situation, my dog does the same thing and the vet said that when dogs poop, they shit out nutrients. So they try to regain those nutrients by eating their poop. Hope this makes sense! Love your vlogs!
