I thought the same thing too. I understand that Weylie loves Money. I love my dog more than anything, but I didn't take her with me when I moved, because I know she becomes miserable when she's away from my brother. It hurts to be away from my dog, but it would hurt me more to see her sad. She should really consider letting Money live with her parents.

How would you feel about leaving Munny in your parent's home?? I mean, you said that you're not gonna be permanent in LA anyway. Plus, your dog seems so unhappy compared to when you showed him when he's at your parent's house.
Also, leasing is like an acquired taste because you're just forever renting a car and forever paying for it is something that doesnt really sit well with me, but its a good choice if you get bored of cars easily!

I'm currently leasing a Chevy for the second time. The nice thing about leasing is that you can drive a newer car since the payments are lower than if you purchase. The down side is that you pay a couple hundred dollars every month and at the end, you don't actually own the car. Some people think it's just wasting money, but I wanted a reliable car during college, and it's been pretty nice. Just make sure you don't go over the allotted miles 'cause that can add up. Now that I've graduated, I plan to purchase my own car after my lease is up, it will be nice to have a car I can say I actually own!
Weylie when you started talking bout your grandpa. I cried. I'm actually crying right now. My grandpa passed away 2 months ago and he was my best friends. You talking bout him just made me realized how much I miss him.
Hi Weylie! Just wanted to say, you're so lucky you have a positive influencer in your life (referring to your grandpa). Growing up, my parents always pushed the idea of better education will give you a better job, which will allow you to make more money. But as we all know, life is much more than just money. No amount of $ can buy you your experiences (like you said). And that's so true. I started blogging about 1.5-2 years ago, and I just recently told my parents about it...they don't really get it but i tried to explain it to them as simple as possible and still, the first and pretty much only thing my dad asked was, "are you getting paid." - the answer was no...but i really enjoy it. And i wish they could just be happy for me instead of jumping to the conclusion that everything is about money. I try to see it from their point of view - they came to this country with nothing but the clothes on themselves, and so money is a big part of what defines happiness. But as i've gotten older, I've really come to find that money isn't everything, and it definitely can't buy happiness. I wish i could have them understand that better. Is this something you have dealt with with your parents? If so, how did you overcome it to create a peaceful understanding between you and your parents?

Weylie, its so nice to see you having fun with your grandparents! The only grandparents I was close with was on my mom's side and they passed away when I was in seventh and eighth grade, not even a year apart, because I guess they couldn't live without each other! You're very lucky and blessed to still have them with you and please share more moments with them! It reminisces me of the time I had with mines. I just wish they were here to watch me grow and mature into a woman. ❤️❤️

2 fun facts: I worked at Sears in Burlington Massachusetts for 4 years...when I worked there I went on my lunch break one day and Wah was hanging with his family right outside our store in the mall :) was too shy to go up to him back then though!

Leasing is awesome because you get to switch cars every three years and you're able to drive a brand new car for a lower price than you would if you financed the same vehicle. It does suck if you drive over 12,000 miles a year (or even 10,000 for some brands) because you'll have to pay for extra miles. (If you how many you average yearly then you can plan ahead and save money by purchasing them early, otherwise you'll run into overage fees which can run between 10-15 cents per mile over). Another perk is much lower maintenance costs. I'm currently leasing with Toyota and they cover all of my basic maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, ect.) free of charge for the first two years (or 25,000 miles , which ever is first) so my car expenses really only consist of my lease payments, insurance, and gas for 2/3rds of my lease contract. Not every brand does this, however the overall maintenance costs should still be lower than owning because nothing major should happen in the first three years of a cars life. You can also add warranties, for instance I added tire protection to my contact so won't have to worry about replacing a set of expensive OEM tires should I have bad luck and blow one out or get a nail stuck in one. Leasing has its pros and cons. I wouldn't suggest it if you plan on driving between LA and San Francisco more than once or twice a year (unless you don't drive very often and can stay within the milage limit or don't mind paying an overage fee). If you can live with the milage limits and not being able to modify your car its great. Hope this was helpful!

I love leasing but it depends on the person! I've calculated that if you're not going to own your car for more than 6-7 years, it's better to lease. Also depends on how much you drive. Generally they allow 12,000 miles/year so idk if it's worth it to travel from SF to SoCal and drive daily (They also have bigger mileage allowances if you want to pay more). But I don't know how much you drive so... you'd have to calculate that for yourself, gurl. If you are ok with the given miles and a good driver, I say you're a good candidate for leasing.

I am leasing a car and I love it. Way better then buying especially if you get bored of cars easily like me. The only bad thing about it is they only give you a certain amount of miles you can put in the car and if you go over the miles they will charged you so much. But other then that its amazing to be driving brand new car. I leased a 2019 Chevy Cruze LT
