- A lot of people are probably sick of seeing me bomb tanks and rip them apart with cannons. So, in this video I decided to support our comrades on the ground with the help of the A6M5 ko!
Also, I shot some more tanks but... you get the idea! :)
The A6M5 ko is a rare premium vehicle for the Japan. I'm ashamed to say I've not really flown it much in War Thunder. The Japanese Zero rolls well, stall climbs and turns like a champion.
The A6M5 recently got a buff to the 20mm cannons. One of the most frustrating things with Zero's is how little damage they cause at times. Luckily, this 20mm buff to the A6 series ups their damage output quite a bit!
War Thunder has always had these icon planes in the game and I think it's about time I played some more of them!

Hey man, thx for video. I remeber the one occasion, I flew my La-7 in tank RB, I took down 4 planes, and get behind F4U Corsair, I pepper him a bit, and got left with 2 cannons shell left... I took my sweet time, waited for his moves, and then fired right in his path with my last two shells... I took him down and man... I was in seventh heaven!! I will never forget that round, although War Thunder did long time ago due to updates. :D

A6m5 historically had CO2 fire extinguishers for fuel tanks and I think it might be modeled because I put fires out with it more often than other Zeros

Here's an idea for a challenge. In tank RB, turn off the HUD and get an ace only shooting from third person view.
I have no idea how it is you're able to fly planes the way you do. I always find it damn impressive to watch!
When I started the video I was like « Oh my God! OddBawZ is playing Aircrafts realistic battle! » ; but no, he was just far from the battlefield.

I read somewhere that the Spitfire was the only allied plane that could turn with (or was it out turn) the Japanese fighters.
Honestly the Zeros are some of my favorite planes to fly...those turn and burn fights ate just so satisfying.

When my plane catches fire I try off the engine and I dive down. 50 % of the time it works.

The pack that comes with this plane is still the best deal in WT. for $15 USD you get a FANTASTIC premium that can grind almost the entire Japanese tech tree sans tier 6, 2 weeks of premium, 850 GE, and that Japanese campaign which is kinda neat too, If pretty out of date by now.

A7M1, the G55s and P59A are my favorite air superiority fighters in ground RB. Have had multiple aces in them

When people crash themselves into the ground, the closest enemy player deserves the kill, even without a hit. They shouldn't punish you just because a spiteful player just doesn't want to give you the kill.

Nice video. You should preset the range when shoting from binoculars view. This way you can point on the target and adjust after... so you can be much more accurate.

So Odd, the trick to avoid people killing you to take first is to never be in first to begin with.

Love my zeros, just hate how every time I try a RB with them in air....majority of my team stays at ground level....not much I can truly do against 5+ enemies that know not to turn fight me and are really fast!
Yeah you can tell who the smart pilots are because they avoid you like the plague lol. If they don't get you in a head on attack they just run.
I've also found that your worst enemy in ground when flying a Zero is being dragged over enemy AA or chasing bombers. I've died that way many more times than being shot down by an enemy fighter.
How do you get it to persistently display your round count? I am flying yaks and it always surprises me when I’m out. I can’t get used to their low ammo load.
Did that buff apply to the type 99 model 2's on the A7 series as well?

I was hoping for this one. These days I tend to think Zeros are the ultimate pilot test. Can you play 'em without getting infuriated into quitting, by them bursting to flames over everything, mostly.
You should try doing this with the Do 17 family planes from Germany.

Hey Oddbawz, would you check out the first P-51 in the American tech tree with 4x 20mm hispanos I believe. I think you'd do wonders with it! The reason why I'm asking you to play it is that I researched all the bombers till the B-17 in one single day! Like, catalina, B-24,B-25J,B-25J Mitchell and now I'm researching the B-17. Please give it a try! It's an absolute monster on the 3.7 Br and it's still a monster even at 6.7 Br!

pretty sick, but it is ground rb is where attackers are played more often
like the enemy most of the time would be carrying bombs and rockets so they are pretty slow
so having a plain fighter is like the most overpowered thing especially on the axis teams
Zero players after playing one of the most broken planes at 5.0, killing an average 4.3 plane and saying skill issue

I think this might be one of the easiest RB challenges i've seen to be honest. It's mainly limited by the enemy being good enough to spawn enough planes and not having the best aa. A lort of people that only play ground rb are shit at planes, or only know how to do CAS. Combined with a lack of attention due to no markers killing planes is really easy.
Has anyone got tips on how to get aircraft rp fast. I want good cas and fighters but i dont get to earn rp for them that much just because i love ground rb so much

I need a little help, just unlocked the m6a1 (i think thats the name), in my first match i recieved the feedback that it is really bad, maybe because of the uptiers or the gun idk. How can i play it well?
Edit: any useful feedback is accepted. Plus i have no premium account nor any premium vehicle.
In my opinion it´s a very good tank but it suffers from uptiers and not having a lineup. If you still wanna play it then use it more as a second-line tank, because your armor is there but the best and the gun is quite capable to work even in uptiers.
@@aerocraft3377 after some rounds i have realized it is no that reliable, i have made more damage with the m4a2 or even with the m24 than the m6 at some matches

@@JARG09631 Maybe don´t take the M6 as your first spawn and use the M24 isstead.
I mean, if people weren't using American 50cals to top-down any German or Japanese tank up to about 5.0 before they watched your F2A video, they just weren't playing American planes right
