You should of walked thru the old-school mansion neighborhoods in the west area of downtown with Donegal leading into it, the old houses are what you want to be showing and the museum as well as the Lift locks. Peterbourgh still has a lot of gems.

So sorry you had to see downtown today, its actually awfull . You failed to cite BLUESTREAK RECORDS on george street, a great local for vynil collectors.
Nice work, Carrie but sorry to say Peterborough has become a drug addled toilet of crime and methadone. I've been there several times at 2:00 a.m. after a show. The very places where you walked had about 700 drunken idiots looking to pick fights as the bars emptied out. There's no police presence either. What was once a great city of opportunity in the 70s has turned into a mini-Toronto complete with a pathetic traffic system and crime to match.
Im gana do a better tour including what you will see every day.
That is some pretty selective editing. It is literally impossible to walk more than two blocks in downtown Peterborough without encountering people either drugged out of their minds or begging for change.
Try it at 8:00am in the morning. Pretty quiet and uneventful
