2021 filmed with a camera from 2000
Yeah, but it's clever how they trained a monkey to use it.
@@Nilguiri you can thank IG for killing the original res. of that video
you born in 2034?
â@@scarecrow108productions7 I don't know what IG means! I was referring to the fact that the camera is being waved in the general direction rather than using nicely composed shots. Cheers.
could you be more entitled?
0:12 "they're gonna make a freighter version"
I have no idea if I heard that right
Yep it will be called the 777FX
Given how big Boeing's freighter market, they got to make one, it'll probably based on the 777-8
Yes I heard that tho
"In June 2019, Qatar Airways urged Boeing to develop a 777X-based freighter, to replace its existing 777Fs. Boeing confirmed that discussions were under way to define a timeline for a freighter variant."
I think they were on about A350F
Such a neatly laid modern cockpit. Really similar to the 787's cockpit.
That's because it basically is a 787 cockpit.
@@herrhornbuckele5227 But the yokes and thrust levers are from the 777-300ER.
@@Mike5890Aviation throttle is 787 style
@@boeing737-8hx the 787 and 777 both have same thrust levers.
I believe that's Boeing's intention - kind of like how most Airbus cockpits are more or les the same. It allows for pilots to be able more easily get rated in other planes.
Except for the autopilot controls and knobs, this cockpit looks ported over from the 787!!
Should be an easy thing for pilots flying with the Dreamliner
this is just like a fusion of the 87 and 77
Yeah its just to save the cost of training the pilots
@@abishek9195 I'm wondering why they couldn't just keep the exact same cockpit of the classic 777 with the wingtip switch and the additional hydraulic pumps I went able to find out
@@noah9130 There are far more new things in its guts.
@@noah9130 saucisse
It looks cold, I miss the tan colours of the other 777s
Same here.
Wow ! Itâs very different from the other B777âs !
To an extent but the upper panel seems to be similar to the original 777s. Not the same color tho.
Fairly certain it's all under the same Type Rating. Maybe just a quick Differences Course, and they'd be good to go.
@@gurukn Because that worked so well for the MAX and they are incapable of learning? But really, all modern Boeings are very similar. So a 757 pilot would feel at home in this cockpit. There are detail differences, but the systems are basically in the same place. Only the antique 737 is significantly different in current production aircraft.
@@cageordie I'm sorry, but I absolutely did not make that connection at all!
The 777 has always had a Fly-By-Wire, the engines aren't half way over the wing, the FCU and probably the FMC are also identical, potentially minor changes in the overhead panel, but other than that and the color of the cockpit, and the displays, I think the pilots will do just fine with a differences course, and at max one or two sim sessions.
Hell, even A330 pilots did the same thing, and now they can fly the A330 and the A350, both under the same type-rating. They also get to fly the A340 under the same rating. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but A320 pilots also have their widebody training greatly shortened.
Pretty cool graphics for flight sim 2020
The quality on this video is AmAzInG!!11!
I will fly one of these one day.
Same
We will my friend!
Getting some 787 vibes here, neat
I adore Boeing, and I have to say I'm not a pilot, but the Airbus cockpit always looks like it is more comfortable, especially on a long flight, because you don't have that yolk obstructing your legs. Also, on a lesser note, the Airbus pilot seat looks like it might be a bit more comfortable somehow.
Beautiful cozy office đ
The old 777 display screen looks better on the 777x
why did they make it look like the 787 ?
Commonality for type rating
@@tomstravels520 A 777 pilot would be a bit lost in this 777X without a bit of training so I don't understand
@@noah9130 thatâs what differences training is for. An A330 pilots can get a common type rating for the A350 and fly both even though the screens are very different, the location of the important functions and buttons are identical
Because why not? They did it for the 737 MAX after all. I could care less about looks. The screens are bigger which is what I would prefer, which should make it easier to ready stuff. They simply wanted to adapt some features from the 787 onto the 777X. And secondly, to maintain commonality with the 787.
The worlds biggest aerospace company canât even afford anything higher than 480p?
Stupid comment.
Hmmm seeing a distinct lack of a cursor tracker ball. Wonder if they have finally gone fully touch screen MFD display! The 787 set up was leaning towards that. A precursor for this possibly!
Yeah I think it's touch screen with this one! Nuts!
its touch screen
Old school with technology, amazing
What a beautifull office. I love the 737. But I do think the tripple seven is my favourite. Enjoy. Its a beautifull machine. A beautifull lady. Tore, Norway.
step 1: Make 787 Cockpit
step 2: CTRL C
step 3: CTRL V
now you have 777X cockpit :)
Flight Sim 2030 looking pretty good...
I wish i could fly this plane 4 years from now
b777-9: "Can i copy your cockpit?" b787-9:"yea but dont make it obvious." b777-9: *Indents FMC screen 1 mm deep and slightly changes the overhead panel*
Its always the low quality videos
Canât wait for the freighter version
Looking very nice. I have stood in the cockpit of 777s many times myself talking to the Captsin and First Officer.
480p in 2021 smh
COOL FLIGHT DECK FOR THE BOEING 777-1000
The cockpit is so cool
The cockpit is the same as the 787-8 9 or 10 bc the thrust levers are simular
The thrust levers look more like the 777's thrust levers. However, the colors and displays are more reminiscent of the 787. But the overhead is definitely a mix.
not exactly same, MCP and OVERHEAD are from original 777
These days things just keep getting smooth even phone apps.
Did you use a 15 year old phone to take this?

pffff...still got the stupid steering wheels ....where's the "dont crash" button?
Keep It Up Boeing Im A Big Fan!!
Whatâs with the extra buttons and knobs for the hydraulics?
This is definitely an android that recorded this
480p?
I never understood why Boeing made the lower multi function displays so big but then left the CDU the exact same size as the physical models and left so much space underneath the software buttons. Airbus changed their design for the A380 to a bigger displays which meant more information for the FMS and before anyone says âfor common type ratingsâ an A330 pilot with older MCDU can fly an A350 with newer FMS
The CDU has changed to the large MFD.
Also, the A330 and A350 do not have a common type rating, while the 777 and 787 do, from a pilot's perspective. Essentially, with about 5 hours of training, a 777 pilot can fly a 787 and vice versa. This is not the case for the A330 and A350 - the A350 requires a complete conversion course, like changing from the 737 to the 777.
The A330 and A330neo, however, do have a common type rating, and a common cockpit.
The A350 and A380 I believe may have a common, but don't quote me there.
The A330 and A340 have a common
The A320 and A330 may have a common.
@@aadvantagegold5220 A330 and A350 do have a common type rating go and look it up. SAS pilots have flown both A330 and A350 and vice versa ever since they got it and so have Lufthansa. They can/could even fly the A340 as well
I did actually mean FMC instead of CDU
@@aadvantagegold5220 Sorry but you're wrong. I can confirm that many companies allow pilots to fly both the 330/340 and the 350 at the same time
@@noah9130 There's a difference there. Airlines can cross-train the A330 to A350 and vice versa. It costs money. But often, makes sense.
480P? Did you buy this Camera in the 90s?
Why this cocpit looks like 787 dreamliner?
So 787 pilots can fly the 777x and vise versa. That's why
It's not the 787 suite, definitely not the MD11 although it's look like an MD11 2.0 suite...
It's a mix of the 787 and 777.
2021 and you recorded this with a potato from 2008.
I loved flight deck.
No more touch panel thing for the cursor GOOD
Very nice many switches just amazing.
I miss the beige colour
so they gone make it closer to a 787 cockpit to follow uniformity just like how all airbus planes can have the same feels or how and A340 pilot can fly the A330 because its all similar
I want one for myself
B777 Overhead Pannel & B787 displays
awesome
Man that is nice!
Beautiful!
Geeezzz.....Multi million dollar cockpit recorded with a throw-away camera for 5 bucks!?
When I looked at the picture I thought it was a 787
the a350 is more modern and quieter
i think they're on par
@@Seravee1? what do you mean? can you tell it to me in an easyer way cuz im from bulgaria
@@KalaBG-bs it means they're equal
@@Seravee1 the a350 has more tablets and is easyer to start up
The Airbus A350 is, yes, a new breed of aircraft. However, the GE9X is quieter than the Trent XWB, which is the powerplant of the A350.
However, the 787 is definitely on par with the A350 in terms of modern equipment, and therefore making the 777x on par with the A350, because the 777x carries an almost identical cockpit.
similarities with the dream liner
Dude no way it does have a b787 stayle cockpit đ±
Commonality is key for operators. The transition from a 777 to a 787 training wise was minimal already no difference to the 777x now
Wonderful
Nossa muito indentico a flightdeck do 787
If it wasn't by the shape of the windows, I've would said it's a 787
it's easy to tell, the MCP is taken from original 777 clearly as well as the overhead and yokes
Wow!
Whats the thing on the glareshield ?
0:17 i hate that design (is that radio?)
Beautiful
Do you still have the potato you filmed this with?
Looks like a 787

Damn 480p
Filmed with a potato - how fitting.
These looks like 787.
Is this really 777?
yes you can tell by the MCP easily

where is the switch to extend and retract the winglet !!?
Right next to the throttle quadrant.

Airbus is the 'Apple' of Aviation industry.
Boeingâs PR really fucking sucks đ

Some things will never change....WAYY TOO MANY SWITCHES
Have you ever seen a Boeing cockpit. Or any cockpit. Every plane has switches.
@@jacksonjolley6187 Not as much as the Boeing(s)....It just looks soo damm ugly
@@Jake-yp9cv You cant have less switches. If youre one of those guys that wants a switch that turns on all the plane, imagine if there is an engine fire. What do you do? in these planes you can cut the fuel but what if it was only one switch? You clearly dont know anything about aviation.
@@Silent-ji6bc Nope...Im an Airbus A340 pilot

i just hope theres no hidden software on this plane that theyre not telling the airlines/ pilots about..... i know theyve had a lot of issues building this plane and its multiple years behind schedule....
Why with the yoke itâs ugly and taking a lot of space
Personally I trust it more than the side stick, especially after Air France flight 447, thatâs not to say the side stick is a bad idea, if Boeing wants to do it, Iâd prefer they link the side sticks together like they do with the yokes

Far behind the A350, despite the modern displays, he still look rustic... Like Boeing always do, re use old tech and old design.
No boeing is better
The cockpit looks so much nicer than on the A350. Display graphics nicer as well.
Boeing let's pilots fly the plane, Airbus controls the plane, and the pilots just monitor. Have you seen all they are doing with their programming? They are no longer pilots, just computer operators.
@@brkitdwn lol as if you think Boeing pilots spend more time manually flying the plane. There no difference except the philosophy. Practically and day to day itâs no different. Both pilots engage autopilots soon after takeoff. Biggest difference is Airbus pilots donât have to keep synchronising the heading bug after every turn
